Enchant- fourth lv spell:
allows a arcane to put one of their already able to cast spells into a item.
Cost varies based upon type of effect.
Ideas on cost.
Permant item- lose X permant character levels, can be regained.
Ex lv 20 arcan wants to cast a 4th tear permant resist magic into a ring. They would have to give up bla permant levels, we'll say 4. They go to lv 16. When they get their levels at the end of the event they go up to 20 again.
# of levels lost, could vary. Item would work like witch hunter skill or like spell, gm call.
Other idea, is the person who the ring is for could give up the levels.
Other idea, you cannot gain these levesl back. Hence, you go to 16, but you never get the levels experiance points back for those levels. This seems a little too harsh to me. But then the item creation seems to powerful to me, but just shooting out random ideas, cause I'd like to see it.
Maybe items should only be one shot? No permant items, or charges only? So like you could make a ring with resist magics in it, at a cost of one lost level per casting of resist...
OR
Try this.
When casting the caster looses 1 lv per level of the spell cast per casting.
So say you want 3 charges of resist magic in a ring. That being a 2nd lv spell, you would loose 6 levels. These could be "real" or "effective".
Real- you loose, have to earn them back- this seems too much of a restriction to me,
Effective- you loose them until end of event. You don't actuall loose skills, but are too weakened to create more items.
