So, what do people think of the rule updates so far? I hope the changes will make the game more enjoyable for everyone! I really like them pesonaly.

I like it so far for it clarifies a lot of things like that kadium armor.

The new political skills are WOW!!!!

I like and will make who ever takes them feel very useful.

I'm assuming manpliation effects Miltary points as well.

Does it also cut free floating hero point requirement in half also?

The way I read it, and intend it, is that the military action cost would not be halved but the "Resource Point" cost to get them would be so a Military Manager with the Manipulation skill would be able to have up to half of the support point total in MP instead of 1/4.
