Buffs

I have been thinking again. I know that can be a dangerous past time of mine, but I have a couple questions about buffing.

The sage can grat extra life, resists, 5 damage swings. Is there any rules that say's a sage can not grant the same buff more than once?

There is a rule a person only can be buffed by +3 life & +3 Armor. But can sage grant a person 3 resist magics? Can a sage grant a group of people a resit magic, resit fear, resist posion, etc...
How about granting mulitple armor or life buffs so one can max out the buff limit?
The same goes for resist fear from the warlord.

The way I have viewed and played it is a person can only have 1 buff of each type on them at any given time.
Aka a person can only have the following
From Sage
2 armor or 1 extra life
1 resist for any type
1 swing of 5 damage
War Lord
1 resist fear


But I was thinking becasue there is a limit on the buffing of life and armor, can sage keep using tatics to give a group of people +3 life and +3 armor. Granted it would take 1hour anf 15 minutes to do this with a sage, but is it possible?

A 1-minute rallying speech or song gives the group, anyone who can hear your rousing speech, one resist fear for the next combat

What is defenition of next combat? Would it not be easier to say until used?

This is accurate, though may get tweeked in the off season. The thought being that possibly te Sage Buffs may allow you to exceed the +3 rule.

At this point, No. It is not possible.

What is defenition of next combat? Would it not be easier to say until used?

The concept for 'War Cry' is a William Wallace type rousing speach, that is delivered at the onset of a battle, and therefor only lasts until the combat is over. Thus the short delivery time. The idea of a speach on friday giving an entire group of people a resist fear until sunday morning doesnt really make much sense.
