site/building/general Ionia Questions

Post by Trevor Owen »

Does anyone have any other questions relating to the new site? Is everyone okay for getting there, getting unpacked, etc.

Those of you bringing guild structures know where you are going to put them?

Any other questions or concerns?

I think so Nelkie. I can't remember the name, just that it's a huge building.

suggestion, if it gets cold you willbe VERY cold, despite two fire places.

there is power, bring heated blanket, or minny heater,

*note too many and we will blow breaker...

There once was a man named Eli,
A man who claimed he could not die.
But one thing makes him wail:
That's when there is no ALE!
Thus his tale: with no beer, he will cry.

cold is a good point

make sure to bring warm things... the fireplaces are less efficient than the gas. The lodge is very cool though, excellent setting.

It is called the Palmer Lodge. I hope to be onsite between one and two so anytime after that it will be unlocked if people new to the park want to take in the atmosphere prior to game on.

Parking suggestion

Post by Trevor Owen »

I have talked with Wayne and Chris about this -

I would like to suggest that you unload cars at the lodge and then move them to one of the neighboring parking lots, either the one in front of the shooting range, or the one in front of the picnic area immediately before the lodge. This way we can keep the cars out of the immediate game area, use the area inside the split-rails for the peasant village, and keep the atmosphere better. The other two lots are not very far, and you can then bring the car back to load up at the end of the event.

Thanks,

Trevor
