Can one speak while casting a spell?
(ie: Say you get asked a question while casting a 45 minute spell. Can you answer it?)

I will say yes. Should be RP'd out. As in you shouldnt be sitting their drinking a beer shooting the shit while casting. 
But I see spell casting as a great opportunity for RP'ing. You should ask people to participate in your spell. Heck maybe later on we might even encourage that in some way.

I have personally just decided (after looking over a few of the new rules) that if I have to first cast my spell to Gather Essance spell (1hr), and then cast spell as my empath power to resurect, ie sit there for 2 hrs with someone, then if their sorry carcas wants to be raised they are going to lie there while I finger paint them and pour weeds and such other fun deeds to them... or else, get raised by someone else...
