The buffs you see for arcane and alchemy are indicitive of what you will see accepted in the future.
It is the idea you dont get something for nothing, ecept for sage which can give you something for nothing.
Now that said please look over the arcane buff share power vrs the alchemy buff "free the beat" vrs the sage buff augment.
Does the buffing system seem to be balanced and in line with each other?

I see the Arcane "Share Power" as being something that is probably cast on 2 warriors, if the gamble pays off and they picked the right resist, then one has a chance and the other is only loosing a little. Most likely over a weekend they will get a chance to use the resist at least once. At least that is my, possibly inaccurate, observation.
"Free the Beast" on the other hand is something an alchemist would give to a non-warrior to protect themselves, sure it takes 30 seconds but it gives them a chance to live in a fight, unless they come up against something with Vorpal, in which case they are hoosed. And where as sharing the power multiple times takes 15 minutes each, and therefore is much more likely to be given to several people, an alchemist can only brew one potion of "Free the Beast" a weekend, so to rear up and army of "Beasts."
As the "augmented skills" they are nice to have but will only make a significant difference in a few limited cases, more limited than the above cases in my experience, but what do you want for no penalties, right?

Interesing thoughts that is how I know we did a good job since I see things differently than you.
I see most people using augment if they have vigor or combat reflexes over anything else. I know as Dueger that I would seek out a sage right at game on for 2 more points of soak woot.
I see the share power as something that happens rarely since you need to find a person with the appropriate skill who is willing to take a hit to give it to another. I dont see this hapening much and as for resist magic you need to find a witch hunter or tribal protector. Hopefully the witch hunter isnt going to allow an arcane to cast this buff on them. Even if you d find a person you would need to find multiple people willing to share to buff everyone.
Free the beast I love because it ROCKS except for that vorpal problem and that it takes a long time to make.
