Character Points
I was looking at the amount of experience past 20th level and I another suggestion.
To give a small added bonus for playing a charcter past 20th level I suggest instead of 1 character points per 2 levels, make it 1 character per level.
Currently a charcter would have to be level 32 to get another 1st level disapline. and than be level 72 to get another 1st level disapline.
By making it so a charatcer point is recieved for each level than a new 1st level skill can be achieved at level 25 and the next 20 points would be at level 45. Basicaly it would take 3 years to get that skill.
So under the suggestion a player could have at level 45
3 level path
4 level disapline
2 level disapline
1 level disapline
1 level disapline
1 level disapline
or
3 level apth
4 level disapline
3 level disapline
What do you think?

I don't see any problem with it. It's not like it's a truly unbalancing addition. Almost all of the advancement comes in the first year as it is, and I don't thing getting that one extra skill after three years is so much more powerful than getting it after five.
One should rather die than be betrayed. There is no deceit in death. It delivers precisely what it has promised. Betrayal, though ... betrayal is the willful slaughter of hope.

I rather give out hero points

"As you level your character or through plots in game you will gain hero points. Hero points can be used to use a skill instantly and without penalty, reduce the time it takes to cast a spell, gain 5 temporary life for a battle or scene, and lastly to increase your damage by 1 point for a battle or scene. You can use multiple hero points at one time. "

Hero Points
Sounds good chris but FH has been going for 2 years and to my knowledge no hero points have been awarded.
What do we have to do to get them?

Hero Points
You were supposed to start with them... 5 i thought, though it may have been three. Plus one every ten levels automatic. We were trying to encourage their use more often for heroic deeds. I may be off on the numbers though.... i was wondering why i hadn't seen many players using them. Stacked hero points can be really potent!

Actually at one point we did scrap the idea of just giving them out at start, and did say we would give them out IG. As yet, I beleive you are correct that non have been passed out. I think though that we need to come up with a system for their distribution, that is fair, and equitable for everyone.

well that would certainly explain...
Well now, I certainly can see why no-one has been using hero points.
Yeah they were supposed to be awarded for heroic actions, plus with levels. The marshall's will definately talk about that, because we DO like to encourage heoic actions (contrary to popular belief that we all just enjoy watching you become maimed and suffer - well that's just a job perk for us).

Yeah if they aren't given out as a function of mechanics I see the more gregarious people getting alot and the quieter more laid back people getting much less. I am not saying that they shouldn't be given out for heroic or anti-heroic action but to limit it to that is making it much much too subjective. People shouldn't be penalized because their characters aren't the in the spotlight type or even the heroic type.
