I have some ideas for additional items a craftsman could make

These items are considered master quality and only a fourth level craftsman can make them

Backstab sword, cuts the charge down to do a back stab to a 5 count. Must be a bladed weapon, takes double resources, and base tiem + 10hrs

2 Handed Weapon of death - When a warrior is rageing and they are using this quaity 2 handed weaponwith no shield or other weapon they get +1 more damage from the rage. AKA, you use a two handed weapon and it is quality, you can rage for 2 damage, + base, + any other skill bonus. This benifit will not stack with Vorpal or Crush. takes double resources, and base tiem + 10hrs

Qaulity shield
Grants + 1 damage it can take Quality bukler 6, shield 11, heavy shield 16 (Time is base +10 hrs, resources are X3 base)
Quality shield can take more damage than it takes to break it, once before it breaks. AKa this quality shield can take 2 30 booms before breaking. (Time is base +10 hrs, resources are X3 base)

These sound like nifty unique quest items, but I'd hate to see everyone having them - or knowing crafters can create things that decrease kill charge times or increase skill effects at all.

Shield isnt too bad an idea.

Problem is youare comming up with perm items. I want temp items with repeated costs.

For temp item make the craftsman able to do it, but after combat the shield has to be repaired again and cost like X amount of resources to do so.

Humm..I could be really mean and say the craftsman has to be out of game for like 2 hrs in the "forge" or something. This way at least the player who plays said craftsman might not want to be away from the action that long or something.

Aaron, you need to work on marketing. I don't think any NPC is going to look at something called the 2 handed weapon of death and think it's a good idea, no matter what it actually does. Now, it you call it the 2 handed weapon of minor annoyances, you can get away with more :)

Another idea for quality shields.

A quaility shield does not count towards ones armor catergory. But the shield can take 5 points less in damage
Quaility Buckler n/a
Quality Shield 5 points
Quality Heavy SHield 10 points

It takes base time + 10 hrs to make a quality shield and double the resources.
