Never read Wheel of Time. I think Aaron has mentioned it as one of his books he's "read" (aka listened to) :D

If you listen to unabridged, I see no difference. I read books 1-7, listened to the books past 7.

There once was a man named Eli,
A man who claimed he could not die.
But one thing makes him wail:
That's when there is no ALE!
Thus his tale: with no beer, he will cry.

I don't believe I have... but I read so many books its hard to keep track of them. We've had to turn them on their sides to put on the shelves cause we run out of room.

Mostly I like the Realms books for DnD,

but I'm way off subject here and brad the web mistress, I mean wip cracker is gona yell at me.. :)

BTW: I dont think any of us had read Jordan before we started creating the game and the world of Phanterra. I still haven't read the wheel of time. I dont really like his writing style. I love the world though. As for George R R Martin, I absolutly love his series. I cant wait for the next book. After reading them, I really got into heraldry and would love to see more of it at FH......OK...Back on Topic..

We have been talking about a new priviledged disciple that is kind of like the one you suggested but less mystical. More of a detective

Some kind of Search or Spot ability? Again, that's kinda assumed to be under Scout, although mainly in a wilderness setting.

Is there an existing Discipline that an Urban Search/Spot skill could be associated with?

Sethreal, those books are awesome, actually Atrum is kinda a cross between Jon Snow and the older Targaryen, can't remember his name right now.

Scouting

Post by Nelkie »

I my opinion it is all on how it is roleplayed.

To be the best tracker, scout, searched you only need 3 skills.

Thief spot skill
Empath - detect magic
Wilderness survial.

You can detect anything there is to detect. Now it is up to the person on how you roleply these skills.
My Thoughts

No, maybe it isn't the Targaryens, It's the guy that is the son of the King in the west, He became Hand for awhile, he's short and has a chip on his shoulder, I think his brothers name is Julian. I'll have to look it up in the books if I can get ahold of them.
