Using the Sage skill mimic, if i mimic any of the political boosting skills at the end of an event does the bonus from that skill apply to when I check out?

IIRC Skills cannot be mimicked between events. So Mimic would not be able to be used for any political adjustments.

correct. all skills end at the end of the event unless they say otherwise.
