New Privelege.

Post by Sethreal »

I had an idea for a new privelege. I was thinking that maybe it would be ike a Sniffer.... Like they could smell where a battle has been and track evil..stuff like that..please ask questions on this further.

You wont see any more disciplines added to the book. Not saying there are not hidden disciplines out there.

As for a sniffer I would think it would be savage, also there is no "track" skill in the game unless we add it situationally. Oh an no there will never be a track skill.

now that I am thinking about it here is a list of skills you shall never see:

track
hide (invisability)
death strike
stun (was taken out recently)
boulder throwing
resist alchohal
de limb
speed of blade (auto hits)

Just a few

The only person who is ever allowed to have Boulder throwing is Cygnis if he comes back :)

As far as hidden disciplines go, If you have an idea for one we may consider it but only in the off-season. All hidden disciplines are introduced through plot so even if we worked with a person to create one, they would still have to gain it through plot.

If a person gets the ability to gain a hidden discipline from the plot, would they need to buy it like a normal discipline or would it just be added to their current PC for free?

bah, track is great skill
only ever a issue when tracking pc's

I though we used tracking? or was the plot just assumed to have left easy to follow path that "scouts" followed easy?

and I miss stun, but arrow block is pretty cool.

Didn't there use to be a ranger discpline? Did that go hidden or join with scout?

I need to elaborate what I was saying with the Sniffer, it would not just be a tracker it would be for example..... Say a crime is committed of great violence, and the suspect escapes, The sniffer is able to smell where battles or murders took place and can follow the trail of the perp by smell. I got the idea from a charecter in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.
