I don't believe he can answer you while he is casting, but from the several that I have seen of this particular ritual it takes about 10 minuets, however, he informed the others casting the recieving circle we would give them an hour. Hence, I would wader to guess one hour.

*Note, Ug waited an hour before casting the sending circle, after 10 minutes, you all enter into the "astral plane", to what is hopefully, a receiving circle on the other side.*
