Languages to take with read/write

This is not really a rule question, but lore or question about the world.

Is everyone speaking 'common' normally or 'human?' I was curious if there was a difference in Phantarra or if they were the same thing.

no, they do not. Some cultures have their own language, none of which you have encountered yet, but humans do not have a racial language.

Sure we do, it's just that like in most fantasy worlds, we humans are just so special that everyone speaks our language.

Heck yeah. We are just so damn special that "Human" is automatically the baseline for everything in the known world of Phanterra.

We actually have to use a special effort(skill points) to 'bother' to learn other race's languages, while the cosmic grand scheme of things many times forces other fantasy races to automatically be born with the knowledge of the human language.

And if you don't know common? You are ovbiously rabid and need to be put down. *shrugs* Can't argue with an unspoken law.
