The question is, single shot guns or automatic guns? Will shot guns be allowed? I personaly think single shot guns would work better. Can more easly feel how many time you are hit.

I am ok with opening it up to whatever as long as it is below 250 fps. More "Exotic" weapons will just cost more. I am thinking single shot spring guns would be free with free ammo.

No Airsoft grenades for safety reasons. I think we will still use them but with the "Global" damage call from the book.

BTW, you have shown me my dream guns Wayne. I need to save up my pennis though. I knew they made some cool airsoft guns, but nothing like you posted.

I would totally go for this. Firefly/Serenity was awesome- I was a fan right from the premier. I'd be up for both the action and the RPG-side sections of a LARP in that setting.

I wanna play a Jayne-style tough guy with my AEG Hechler and Koch G36C. It's totally Vera. Hell, I even made a custom gun barrels to make it either a "lasgun" or a "long-las" (sniper variant) from Warhammer 40K (ask Brett). Next it's getting a plate on the side with an Imperial Eagle.

Sometime soon I'll also be getting the mini electric Uzi you can get from Wal-mart so I can have a 'autopistol' sidearm.

And Matt? Definitely think about you're friend's airsoft field. It's about four miles from my house!

I just want to re-iterate, for the RP centered people, that this will be an RP game not a MIL-SIM. There will be plenty of oportunity to be big damn heroes with or without a gun.
