knocking down a building

it takes 10 hits to knock down a building with a heavy catapult to knock down a stone building.....does each packet loaded count as a hit?

No, You need to load a single packet and hit the structure with it. The book actual states

5 direct hits from a Heavy catapult/trebuchet throwing a single projectile will destroy a wooden building and 10 direct hits will destroy a stone building.

weird. if you throw multiple packets, you can't knock down a building.

Right. Multiple packets are meant to be grape-shot/ anti-personel. A single packet is meant to represent a HUGE boulder.

I assume HP may be spend loading a catapult? I know it sounds stupid, but I'm curious. (to decrease load time.)

At first was like, why would life decrease load time... HP = hero points

hmm... instantly loading a catapult seems kinda stupid. Course so does instantly bonding someone. Mayhaps hero points shouldn't work on non-skill based times?
