Brokehill Quest: Prelude
Moderator: Admin
Just take sending and recieving and tell me what time(s) each day you want me to open a circle and which one.
What I was thinking is that everyday at around oh 12pm 3pm and 6pm I could open a recieving circle. Then hold it for say... 15 min. If noone comes through by 12:15, 3:15, or 6:15, for each time I close it and wait for the next one.
Course I gonna need protection when I finish casting, we really not that sure about the circles as of yet, like can someone gate into my circle? Not sure. Either way, Then my idea is this. When you all need to return for supplies Bring a mage with you. That mage will cast a sending circle back to a third mage who will be casting recieve. Hence, 3 mages needed.
Once you have all your stuff, you simple cast the new sending circle, with the mage that came through with you all the first time and go back to the camp where your other mage and the rest of your party waits.
Hmm only need to be starting arcane, or a little higher.. ARTHOSIS!!!!
HEY WOLF BOY!!! can you cast? lv 2 spells?

-Eli (Full Elvish: Elaith Vonaduran Craulnober)
There once was a man named Eli,
A man who claimed he could not die.
But one thing makes him wail:
That's when there is no ALE!
Thus his tale: with no beer, he will cry.
(The dark haired, green eyed mage child has faded into the past leaving behind one not quite an adult, but clearly no longer a child. The warrior-mage mixture that he has become can only be described as a survivor. )

And you are worried about Kels and I distracting each other. At least I'm teaching him all about surviving in the wilderness as I promised I would luv. So there is some sort of business going on between all the fun stuff.
Besides if you believe I am going to remain in a serious mind-set when we have not encountered any danger, you are sorely mistaken.

Dead pirate betrayed by Corbyn...ah well least I made him do his own dirty work when he killed me.

*Arthos walks up to Eli*
I can't help with the portals. I don't have enough control to create the portal. Sorry.

If that's the case luv then Kels and I are with you as well to make certain both you and our leader Dallid remain well-protected.

Damn, there I go sounding all warrior-like again...and to think I used to not like this whole adventuring idea.

I hold no special importance. I am a member of the Order of Life and a guardian of the Circle. My purpose is to nurture and support life every way I can. As such, my role can be summed up as healing the injured and destroying the undead - nothing more or less.
We are fortunate enough to have another Undead Slayer among us, along with other healers. Even in communing with nature, Arthos is a more accomplished Druid than I.
I am entirely expendable, and as death is a natural and necessary part of the Circle, I do not fear it. The Quest, itself, is dependant on the entire party, as all within have accepted it.
Focus your abilities on preserving the party as a whole, rather than a single element of it, and perhaps a more synergetic defense can be achieved.

*Dallid smiles as he again shakes his head*
Alas, no. I have no more idea of what is required of us once we arrive at Brokehill than you do. Of Brokehill, itself, I only know it can be found by travelling the South Road, and is likely several days away. It can be recognized by its ruined tower. Admittedly, I have seen this tower in a dream, but I am certain it will be instantly recognizable by all when we see it.
