Thats great. What happens when you have more monsters then you do tabard colors?
Or what happens when its night time and all anyone can see is that its a dark color or a light color?
What about when players decide to wear a tabard? How do you distinguish between a tabard wearing PC and a Tabard wearing NPC?
What about color blind players? (not sure if we have any but not a bad thing to at least consider.)
Dont get me wrong, I am all for this idea. Im just presenting some of the questions that have not been answered yet so that you can cover as many angles as possible.

This is the minimum of what I want to accomplish. Think of it as step one.
A's in order of Q's,
More monsters than tabbards - I'd like to get 6 of each as a start. That covers regular NPC's, if we pull more in a single plot we'll have to resort back to a head band and "what do I see"
Color distinction at Night - As I said this is the bear minimum moving twords full costuming. At night if you cant see well enough to tell yellow from lavender, you probly couldnt see well enough to tell Elf from ValkenVi.
Tabbard use PC vs NPC - There shouldnt be a distinction between PC and NPC, in addition say a newbie comes in and wants to play an Avianna but has no costuming. We could offer them a blue tabbard, and give them till next event to come up with apropriate costuming.
Color blind players!? - I guess we'll just do a lot of "You see a _______"
As I said this is a jumping off point, after this we'll start working on more 'full costuming' for our NPCs. Getting the truck running will be a strong step in that direction.
