Shale watched as Orien kissed Kels’ cheek and a twinge of jealousy peeked through him. He stood and listened to her talking to Kels and feeling empty.

Then she spoke to him and kissed his cheek. His heart raced as she neared his skin, his dark skin tightened as goose bumps flashed with anticipation, but as she kissed him it was empty. What he needed wasn’t there. And as she retreated from him he almost wanted to attack her and take the light from her. Then the urge was to hurt himself. To slash and burn his flesh so she would have to heal him, anything to feel the light inside again.

But, as he opened his eyes again all he did was give a soft smile and nod. “I’ll make sure he is safe. I swear one day I shall return… hopefully for the better.”

Now he felt foolish. He scolded himself for his feelings and again reminded himself that the light wasn’t for him. If he was going to be the phoenix of shadows and darkness that the light would only confuse him. He had to learn to live without that desire. That part of him was dead. He was a... no the Black Phoenix now.

"I am taking my Friend home, and i am not sure when i will be back. So, i am here to say goodbye. If i could come in i would like to say goodbye to everyone here."

*Kels's eyes look empty as if there is nothing there. No fear, anger, or feeling.*

*Kidwynn looks up from her journal and notices Kels, at first she is a bit surprised, but then is relativly calm and quiet for her.*

No luv, can't say I've seen much of him lately.

*Notices the pack and gets out of her chair.*

Looks like you're goin' to be away for a bit. If you have a moment I could send you with a few things for the road.

As for Gabriel, I can look around and see if he is around. If not, I can let him know that you were lookin' for him or whatever.

*Gabrial walks into the room covered in dirt and leaves. Looking as if he has been digging around in search of something.*

"No need for that darlin', I'm here now." *Patting Kels on the back* "Rumor has it that you are leaving us for a bit. So I thought that you could use some of the better stuff I had stashed away." *Gabrial pulls out three bottles from his pack* "I think this should hold you over for awhile"

*Gabrial looks Kels over and gets the feeling that he came here for other reasons*

"But all things aside, is there anything I can do for you Kels?"

*Kels looks at Kidwynn but before he can say anything Gabrial pats him on the back, He looks at Gabrial*

"Well my Friend I see new travles fast. I am leaving, and i do not know when i will be back. I have a favor to ask of you if i could speak to you in alone."

*Kels walks over out of earshot of everyone*

*Kidwynn nods over to Gabriel and then looks back at Kels as if she's about to say something and then stop. She just watches as the two of them walk off to go somewhere to talk.

She still heads up to get a few bottles and places them by the door in a location where Kels might notice the bottles for him to pick up on his way out for his journey. She then heads back to where she was sitting before his arrival. Her present mood unknown by anyone observing her.*
