*As Pugo walks out of the Inn with the others. He stops mid-pace as he hears "Duke GravesBane name" and hacks up a large and coloriful wade of snot. Than spits it towards the Amagus feet. Than walks out with a curl snarl of hatred that has creeped across his once relaxed face grumbling about something.*
"Duke more like jundo or curpot."
*He than does not stop to say anything more and keeps on walking toward the Northern side of Haven.*

Eli upon seeing the portal open and running around telling everyone that 'there' home is stopped in his tracts when he hears his leader Gideon has fallen.
"Where is Artosis? Mom? My new baby brother? All have fallen? That cannot be true," he cries as tear begin to run freely down his face.

-Eli (Full Elvish: Elaith Vonaduran Craulnober)
There once was a man named Eli,
A man who claimed he could not die.
But one thing makes him wail:
That's when there is no ALE!
Thus his tale: with no beer, he will cry.
(The dark haired, green eyed mage child has faded into the past leaving behind one not quite an adult, but clearly no longer a child. The warrior-mage mixture that he has become can only be described as a survivor. )

Frowns at Eli.
"Stop that blubbering! It accomplishes NOTHING! If you don't like the situation, FIX IT! Are you not a mage? The power of the universe awaits your mastery! Learn to bring back those you care about! Learn to keep them forever safe! Conquor Death! Amass the necessary knowledge and nothing is beyond your desire!"

Death is the threshold to immense possibility
*Kidwynn pauses, turns on her heals, and gets between Amagus and Eli. She glares at Amagus.*
Back off him...NOW. Can't you see he just took a major blow to everythin' he holds dear. Not all people view the world as you do Amagus.
*She looks at Eli with some compassion.*
Ok, let's get you to Elder Corbyn and the two of you can talk. Think you'll be needin' him right quick.
*Looks back at Gin.*
Let me get Eli ta Elder Corbyn and then I'm set ta go.

Dead pirate betrayed by Corbyn...ah well least I made him do his own dirty work when he killed me.

"Perhaps that is a reason to never hold anything THAT dear, then" Vaun said quietly.
She gazed at the little elf for a long time before speaking once more. "Amagus is right. Thou art magi. It is within thy hand to change the very foundations of the world, should thou wish it. Lament not the lost, but bring them back. Lamentation does nothing. Tears solve nothing. Atrum Draconus, said the folk of Haven, is beyond returning. I say otherwise. I am a mystic, a Magus Major. His lacking of a corporial form is but a momentary inconvienence, one I will soon solve. If thou hath a desire to bring back thy mother and brother, then find a way. With magic, there is always a way."
She took a deep breath. Why was she giving this child... and an elf no less, advice? She hated elves. She hated children. Yet... too many human emotions and memories were swimming around in her head clamoring to be heard. She shuddered. The dangers of contact with such folk... she knew she was losing herself in the face of Humanity.

*He turns his head slightly from where he is sitting , getting a scope of the people returning , making a mental note of who did not return from the group that entered he whispers quietly to himself* well....it seems i choose to return to the lodge at the correct time *he chuckles lightly and looks the people over to see who would prove the best to gather information from, he leans back a bit and knows that soon he will have his answers*

Sen steps back through the Inn's kitchen doors. He carries a silver tray covered in a sprinkling of the rations that they had brought back through the gate. Several cups of ginger root tea, sugar formed from molasses, and hard tack crackers rest upon the tray. Sen looks composed, rather than the dishevelled look he arrived with. The ravens in the kitchen can be heard cawing as the doors swing heavy.
“Everyone deserves a chance to grieve the fallen. Grief is for the griever, and not for the one who has passed into Mistrialla. But we can not let grief over come us. It can turn to thoughts of hate and revenge. Neither of which do us much good in the end. I agree with Ana’Vaun’Ithilian in that death can be be overcome. They await us in Mistrialla, and can be pulled forth. I imagine such things are not easy, and out of the domain of a lowly cook.
I guess what I mean to say is that some grieve the dead with tears, and others with action. We do what we need to in order to survive. I myself, make stew. Would any of you like some tea? It has been a long journey from through the gate.”

General
*The dwarf walks over to Lambic at the bar*
Let me introduce myself, my name is General Maximus of the Hel Fury Clan. When you are free, might you explain this catcslym to me? Explain how all these different people live in one place? Why you my dwarven brother have chosen to stay here amoung such people instead of going home to the dwaven homeland? Has the world changed so? Also, I would take an ale. I think I will need much ale to hear the story you will tell.
*The general sits down drinking his ale and listens to Lambic*

*Steps between Amagus and Eli*
You will speak to my son with respect, and allow him to mourn in any way he chooses. He has lost much.
This loss has taxed me greatly as well. I have lost my wife and child, as well as several of my closest friends and comrades. My soul bleeds and I no longer have the patience or heart for large-scale politics. As such, the town will now be lead by a group of five worthy individuals, who between them represent nearly every citizen. They have agreed that I should take the title of Elder and serve Haven in an advisory role. Each of the five have been fully briefed on my 'condition' and will disseminate the information to their respective parties as they see fit. I will speak more on this after spending some time with my son.
Several citizens also in need of a fresh start have expressed an interest in joining with me to form an organization dedicated to helping all of Haven. We will be neutral, mediators, and continue to fight for the greater good by maintaining close ties with every other faction in town.
*Turns to Eli and embraces him*
Come, Eli we will retire to our quarters and I will speak to you of how our world has changed.

Donovan, Dewberry, Eilonway, Lao, and Ogrom shall be leading. They have my full support and confidence. If you do not presently support any of them, I suggest you speak to each and find if your beliefs and goals align with one or more. I am sure your allegiance will be most welcome, and our collective strength will be greater the more organized we are, and the more conversations we have about what each of us hopes for in the life we are creating in this place.
