Tracking
Azara leads the small group from the adventurer's guild, back in the direction where Pabbi was found. Overhead, dark clouds are pushed in from the growing breeze and the occasional droplet of water can be felt on exposed cheeks. Walking quickly, the party reaches the area where Pabbi was discovered and Azara focuses intently on the ground. She is seen walking gingerly around, not wanting to disturb anything, looking closely at every print, every snapped twig or branch, every unnaturally bent wildflower, trying to discern the prints of Thail from the prints of those who wandered these same woods a short while ago when they were hunting down the bear that would be Pabbi. Finally, after a frustratingly long time, she notices one set that seems to travel away from all the others, one lone set that on occasion drags one foot, as if due to a lame leg, an obvious limp.

Following the trail, nearly running now, unable to figure out how a scout of her prowess could have missed such obvious evidence for so long, Azara rushes forth, the others not far behind. And as their pace quickens, so does the droplets of rain, blowing into them by the raging wind. The ground begins softening beneath their feet and Azara curses softly to herself and everyone thinks, this is the first time she's ever said anything softly...but the implications are obvious. As the ground softens and the dirt turns to mud, the trail starts to meld, obscure, become more difficult to follow. Long after Dallid and Kathryn can no longer see any evidence of any trail, Azara plunges on, confidently, undeterred by the torrents of nature. And well before even the slightest twinge of doubt enters her conscience--it just seemed too right to be wrong--the path the three of them were following suddenly plunges into the earth. Staring at the sloping decline, tunneling through the ground at a fairly steep angle, it is unclear how far down it may go, but billowing up from somewhere deep within the hole, sound comes forth, stopping them cold. Listening intently, straining to hear the source of these sounds, it becomes clear that it is a voice, but the meaning of the tongue is obscured by the echoes below and the thundering rain above. But there is a certain rhythm to to the voice, a cadence that seems to carry a beat similar to that of the hearts in the adventurers' chests. Pausing, straining, no meaning can be discerned. It is unclear if the shivers coursing up their spines is due to feelings of dread that originate below or from the cold rain and wind from above...

*Looks over at Dallid and Kathryn and in a low, almost quiet whisper.*
If ya want to get more people, feel free. I can see what I can do to scout ahead and see what is goin' on.
*Looks intensely at Dallid*
Ya need ta find Ka. If this is as bad as Kathryn is fearing, we needs one of our best fighers.
*Turns her attention back up ahead.*
It's up to the two of ya what ya want ta do. We need information, we need ta find out what is goin' on...

But how... How did we find this place? This rain has turned the ground to mud, made tracking nigh impossible with even the most careful examinations. Yet we all but flew to this cave! How? What drew you here, Azara... if not this... this voice...
I fear if we heard it true, we would be under it's sway. Go no closer! It resonates. It calls. But to what purpose?
If I am correct, this new threat could be the most insideous. Let us all turn away from here. We should find Ka and return to the Hall as quickly as possible. We'll likely need the protections of magic and strength of numbers to attempt this hole.

Learn the past. Observe the present. Guide the future.
*Still speaking softly*
I understand your concern, but I'm afraid if we dunnot folow then we shall be loosin' a chance to gain some valuable insite. Not ta mention I'd like to gain more tactical information on this Bear fella.
I'll be alright. Between you and Giddeon, I'm certain ya can track Ka down. Who knows, maybe with all this rain he made it back up ta the Guild Hall ta dry off. Ya need to find him and Corbyn.

Scout Intuition
*Crowtches down lower and is still speaking in a soft tone.*
Ta answer your origional question...what brought us here...as me da would say "scout intuition". I cannot explain it ta ya Dallid so that ya'd completely understand for what lead me here was pure instinct. Based on tha directionality of tha path, just there were subtile hints and then instinct that lead me here.
That is why I'm sayin' if you and Kathryn want ta look for Ka...go. I'll stay hidden, but we need ta find out what this individual is up ta. Go and get Arthos and the others...I'm certain you can make it back here Dallid.
