There once was a man named Eli,
A man who claimed he could not die.
But one thing makes him wail:
That's when there is no ALE!
Thus his tale: with no beer, he will cry.
(The dark haired, green eyed mage child has faded into the past leaving behind one not quite an adult, but clearly no longer a child. The warrior-mage mixture that he has become can only be described as a survivor. )

*Once the door from Haybert's home has been repaired, Azara comes back up to the guild hall. She steps inside and looks around for Arthos. Upon finding him, she smiles.*
Are ya ready ta go? We better get movin' and hopefully while we are gone Dallid might be able ta see if that girl is improvin'.
*Azara grabs a few things and then heads outside to wait for Arthos.*

*Azara opens up the door to the woman's room.*
I was wonderin' when you would get here. I am goin' to get our guest some bread. Why don't you sit here with her for awhile.
*Turns back to the girl*
I will be back in a few with some bread.
*Azara moves out of the way for Dallid to enter before leaving the two of them alone.*

The girl looks at Dallid, eyes full of fear. In a shaky, almost raspy voice, she replies, "Tired...Scared...He'll find out soon I'm alive and then he'll come...come for us all."
Tears well up in her eyes..."you should have let me...die...safer that way...better for all"
She fixates on her bowl of stew, staring at it, through it. And then she softly bumps her head against the wall again and again, and the banging slowly grows in intensity...

Please sit still. Let go of your fear. Without your fear, he has no power over you. Without your fear, he is nothing.
Bear knows where we are yet we are still free. Though he has struck repeatedly, we endure. He cannot kill us because, together, we are greater than he. Bear is not all-powerful. Though he commands through fear, he himself is afraid. In that we can hold to hope. In the end, we will prevail.

Learn the past. Observe the present. Guide the future.
*Standing in the doorway with a piece of bread, Azara carefully approaches the girl and hands it to her.*
*She smiles gently*
Do not worry about Bear. If he comes lookin' for ya, there are quite a few of us ready to stand together ta beat the livin' tar out of him. As I told ya before, ya are safe.
*Looks over at Dallid*
When the two of ya are done talkin' let me know. Meanwhile I'll be keepin' watch around here.

The girl grabs the bread and eats it with the same speed as her previous consumptions. Still staying at the far side of the room, she mutters a thanks and then focuses on Dallid.
"You feel confident because you have all these people to help you. I have no one. Someday, you will forget your struggles with Bear. He will wait, he has said as much. You will go on with your life and I will be all alone again, all alone except for the b-b-beatles that know my scent, that will follow me, and that is when he will come, finish the job he started, and you will all pay for delaying him. Unless he can find a new place, a safe place, where he can continue his studies. Perhaps it would be best if I left now before you make more promises you have no hope of keeping."
