*Val seperates herself from the sages and takes on the task of collecting items that may be a value. Potions, empty vials, dried herbs, clean cloth, bread, blank parchment, a quill and a large black book are slipped into a silk bag. She exchanges words and a few smiles with Hannah before she waves to her and turns back to the crowd assembling to depart*
*As noon arrives, the adventurers collect before the Inn with all they intend to take with them. After a check and confirmation that those who wished to go were in fact all present, the group sets out in the direction Corel had pointed. Scouts swiftly move ahead of the party, while warriors take up protective positions along the periphery*

*Form out of the woods as the other start to travel. Comes Pugo with a few large sacks carried over his shoulder. His shield and axe are resting under the sacks as well. He awaits for the other to get near before he joins the group. Once he joins the group he looks at Ogrom, and Vaun and nods.*
"I got some food and water. An I think that the trible of the Fanged Asp is closer than last season. I hope they have moved on but not sure till we get closer to the singing snake springs."

*Ogrom moves to dallids left side and shores up his shield to protect any ranged attack to dallid not caring for his own protection.*
Keep eye open for the tree attackers and watch for enemy movement.

The large group leaves around midday as Dallid (The Great Horned One as he is known in some circles) had planned. The temperature was unseasonably warm and so they were pleased that they had remembered water, as it became necessary quickly to quench a thirst that perhaps arose as much from the heat as from the trepidation of the upcoming adventure.
Within an hour of setting out, the group began to question their own senses, many times having seen movement in the shadows from the corners of their eyes, but when thrusting their weapons to the ready and turning in that direction, they were dismayed to find only a swaying branch or a small animal or, on more than one occasion, nothing moving at all.
And then there was the death. Both on the road they traveled and within the woods where people scouted, the numbers of dead or dying animals have begun to increase dramatically. Those not quite dead were unwilling to move, eat, or drink, and they would not defend themselves when people got too close. They simply sat there, herbivores and carnivores alike, waiting to die. Now, even scavengers have begun to fall victim to whatever disease had plagued the animals, and as the death count rose, the adventurers could only hope that their own cold and lifeless bodies would not soon be added...

As they walked and the death toll rose, Vaun’s odd eyes narrowed and her lips became a thin line. She broke her usual silence with a dark whisper to Atrum, “It seems we hath found this trail of death we saught, that which leads to Chaos, followed by Chaos. And too, the shadows that wisp about like so much illusion… the An’Blanec’Dun are not far, methinks.”
*Looking all around to the death and destruction that besets the land and wonders to himself if the winter to come will even be more harsh to the village and wonders if any thing tribe could do to help with the things to come.*
Great horned one what evil lurks here to take our strenghth from us all and what can we do to help stop this rot from comeing to village before we all become like the rotting ones here.
*all looking to Ogrom can see pain and hurt in his words and eyes as he presents his questions to the great horned one.*

“The Aspect of Chaos is the source of this disease – casting a trail of death for the Chaos Daemon to follow. The disease is not natural – Phantara should not suffer so. These creatures ought be restored to what they should be. But can they? Can any other than Drake, Host of Order, undo the damage inflicted by rampant Chaos?”

“I would see them all healed… but there is no time. They are but a symptom of the greater threat.”
*Turns to the others*
“Both Creation and Chaos must be had for the perfect being. Both must be pursued. Creation is strengthening the Evil Dragon even while Chaos weakens Phantara. Neither may be allowed to continue. I would see the party split – a smaller group formed to pursue Chaos, while the larger force continues on to the Fortress. A minimum of a Scout, a Warrior, and two Healers for Chaos. An Aspect Host must travel with each group – Kels with one, Drake , the other. What say you?”

*To Vaun*
I figured Chaos was either being held by the Dragon or was headed toward where he haeld creation, after mapping it out it looked like it was headed away from us rather than towards us.
*To Dallid*
I'm not a tracker but it seems that at this point the two ways are congruent, if the path of Chaos should begin to go a different direction than Corel indicated then we should consider splitting up.

*DarKarath nods in agreement
"I agree that we should split. I for one am willing to go hunting for Chaos, but if the group decides my skills would be better served hunting down the Dragon Fortress than so be it"

*To Vaun*
Was it still possible that the man named Herb carries Chaos, or has that changed?
