Ideas and Questiosn from the Event

I like the multiple draw thing, gives you 3 chances to be permed. 2 potions could be 10 life so it could take you to up to -10. I don't think the in negs is a good idea but maybe for the recently pulled form the dead it may be. How do you heal from -20 without potions though?

if a person is a neg 20 the only way I can think if without potions is for a Healer to do First aid (2 points), Surgery (10 points). That brings them to negative 8.. after that a healer could extend life on the patient and then hopefully someone is around so they could transfer life into the target. Although I wonder if youare transferring life into a target if they stop bleeding to death, it does not say in the rulebook that they stop bleeding, but it would seem to make sense.

And there is transferring life through spell as well.
"The Empath can drain 2 life from a target, even themselves, and give another target one life point in return, up to the character’s maximum life. This ability takes a 20 count to activate and you must be touching your target. At any time you take damage or move you are considered
interrupted and must make the 20 count again. The Empath can only drain positive life from an individual. Thus, once a player hits zero life, they can no longer be drained. However, the Empath can heal targets who are in negative life."
Under resurrect:
"The Empath may use one other (and only one) person’s life force in this
spell by channeling the life force out of them and giving it to the dead person."
So what is the max life a meatshield is going to have? 8? 10? So the empath could give say 4 or 5 life (putting the other person to 0) into the dead guy.
So that is 10 (surg) + 2 (first aid) + 5 (empath) + 5 (arcane) = 22 life.
Heck, you don't even need to use potions right now to bring someone back, though they are better than using the arcane's spell because that costs mystical components if the caster wants to live through it.
But then, the caster could always simply be healed by a healer with surgery and be fine without using the add-on rite of spirit fire.

As far as I know, you can continue to do surgery, but it is at a risk, cause they have to pull chips for each point after the initial 10 surgery.
Sorry if you guys were talking about something else.

I *REALLY* hate to bring this up because I like the spell in its current form, but I think we need to take another look at spark of the spirit.
Situation:
Bob is at -48
Dallid does surgery + first aid to bring bob to -36
Ug switches life with Bob using Spark of the Spirit.
Dallid does surgery + first aid to bring Ug to -24
Nuk switches life with Ug using Spark of the Spirit.
Dallid does surgery + first aid to bring Nuk to -12
Talana switches life with Nuk using Spark of the Spirit.
Dallid does surgery + first aid to bring Talana to 0 and then heals her.

Here's a better example to show that it is broken using only three people:
Shale is at -48
Dallid does surgery + first aid to bring Shale to -36
Ug switches life with Shale using Spark of the Spirit.
Dallid does surgery + first aid to bring Ug to -24
Skale switches life with Ug using Spark of the Spirit.
Dallid does surgery + first aid to bring Shale to -12
Ug switches life with Shale using Spark of the Spirit.
Dallid does surgery + first aid to bring Ug to 0 and then heals him.

Well I really am against requireing chip bags for all these different things. We had to fight to get the healer to have a chip back and there is where it should stay for simplicity.
Here is my idea:
1) change the order of resurection.
When a person dies the body needs to be prepared so it can hold the character's essence. The Body is considered to be at -15. (I hate changing it gain but only way I can simplify this)
Only surgery can be used to bring the body back to a stable state (= in neg of the races life)
Next the arcane or healer take over.
What does this do??
1) You dont have to perform 3 hours of resurection to find out that a person is dead.
2) Simplifies the process so no one can figure out the 100000 ways to weazel out of death
3) This should force about 3-5 draws from the bag making it a 30 to 50 per cent perma death rate
We can play with that by allowing healing potions and first aid which would mean that the players COULD make it a 100% recovery by using BIG potions.
Thoughts?

I thought they stopped bleeding DURING surgery, however, if you stopped and they were still in negatives (under their racial LPs, dwarves for example, would be stable at -2, I believe) they would still be bleeding to death.
