It seems as though practice is canceled for July 9th. Instead, we plan on heading down to Silverleaf. The plan is to meet at McGraft park at 10am and head on out.

Pardon, but I thought the nesting was July 9th? Why is it canceled?...or is there a confusion with dates here?

From my understanding, we are going to combine all three events; Silverleaf, practice, and nesting. Bring foam weapons.

Actually it is only two nesting has been moved back one week to the 16 th
but bring foam weapons and garb to silver leaf the 9th was going to be bad for a few people and phil was planning on going to silevleaf that day anyways.

It came down to originally the 9th was going to be the nesting as well as my birthday party later that night.. but from what I had heard the 9th was not good for quite some people for the nesting.. so I figured heading down to the RenFaire and then the bar afterwards would be more promising.. and that seemed to take off better. so the Nesting was moved to the 16th.

Basically it seems the 9th was not a good day for a few people for a nesting.. and so I put forward just going to the RenFaire instead which seemed to pick up better.. Taki then decided to move the nesting to the 16th.

Oni and I have discussing the possibility of a Pre-Nesting combat practice. It will be happening, the only variable is when and where. I know Oni wants in and I want to do it. Joe will probably be up for it as well.

We are talking about a 10am meet time, and then some combat practice. I need practice in my armor and hopefully with the new shield and axe. Matt just likes practice I think. Anyway, it's location is up for debate given who wants to join us. We can do it at at the Park if some others want to participate.

after that we will go to the Nesting. So give us a shout(right here is fine) if you want to get involved in Pre-nesting practice.

I would go, but I will have my son so I will most likely only be showing up for the nesting.. I am assuming things are still on for the nesting.. Is it still at 2pm at CJ's?
