*Kidwynn looks up at the two talking, her eyes reveal she is still thinking about something.*
Arthos isn't the only one who knows these people. I've never traded with them, but I only lived among them for two years or so.

Dead pirate betrayed by Corbyn...ah well least I made him do his own dirty work when he killed me.
*Incarius approaches the man in the boat and kneels down next to it*
"Well met, sir. I am Incarius of Haven, can you tell us anything about what happened here. Such as when was the last time you saw the lake. For that matter anything you've seen strange in the area"
*Incrius smiles at the man and awaits his answers*

"Truth is in the eye of the constable"
"Strange? Strange?" The man throw his arms in the air and then waves them around. "When isn't something strange happening? The lake is gone. Gone! There's some scarred freak asking questions about some guy named Lan or something who never even lived here in the first place but he's sure because of some sort of weed or something. That guy's freaky!" His voice cracks again as he gets worked up. "I don't know what's going on. There was a lake, I'm sure of that, and I'm almost positive it was right here, no matter what that Malcom fellow says, speaking of strange. And he thinks that I'm the one who's crazy, that no good..." His voice trails off and he sits shaking his pole, as if he were hoping to catch something.
"well, good sir, can we start at the begining . When was the last time you remember seeing the water in this bed. I agree that it was hear now we need to figure out what happened to it." Incarius takes out a piece a bread and offfers the old man some before having some himself.
"Truth is in the eye of the constable"
*Kidwynn looks at Incarius*
I know the last time I saw it was right before the mission where Commander DuSinjin sent Kels, myself, and Ravinal to investigate that well. The man is correct, the lake is suppose to be right here. We should be swimming currently where we are standin'.
*She turns her attention to the man.*
What does this character who was lookin' for the Lan fellow look like? Do you rememeber what direction he went it? Also, about this Malcom guy, what does he look like and what was he like overall? You all have a keen sense about people, so I was curious what your impression was on him. Also, do you happen to remember how many people were with him.
As for the mass of water, not certain what all is goin' on. It's the reason why a lot of us are here. To see how you all are fairing and if we can figure this mess out.
*Kidwynn reaches into her bag and hands a muffin over to the guy.*

The man takes the bread and chews on it, almost reluctantly at frst but then places it all in him mouth as he talks, "I' wa he oh ta waks abow an then...(swallow)...Gone! Just Gone! What would make a lake go away? Come back lake. Come back."
Turning to Kidwynn, the man replies, "The man looking for Lan was horribly scarred, not too tall, said his name was Yacka or Yucka or something or other. As for Malcom, he doesn't have a face at all! Of the horror! The other people with him seems all right, with faces and all, they've been generally decent I suppose but that Malcom fellow seems downright angry of all the people suddenly on his land. His Land! That's one's not right in the head if you ask me."
The fishing pole he was carrying gets stuck in the weeds near the boat and he tenses slightly, saying under his breath, "Impossible, but I think I got one!" He begins trying to reel it in...

Arthos
*Arthos walks up and bows to man in the fishing boat*
It is good to meet your aquitance. I'm named H'van, member and friend of the A'Chuk people. I have traveled here with my friends and alli's to help where we can and if possible return the water to the D'art Mouth.
I seek an aduience with T'ru, if she willing to see me, for we have much to talk about. It has been some time sense I have visited, but my vow's to you and the A'Chuk people still hold true. If you could, might point us in the direction where T'ru might be found.
Ohh, yes, one more thing, has K'net been seen sinse the water have left, or has the protector of the D'art mouth and the lake vanished with the water?

The man takes his eyes off his pole but still wrestles with it as he addresses the group. First to Arthos, the man nods, saying, "Well met. I have heard of you H'van, I have heard of a few of you in fact and I trust your words."
The episode with the tugging of the pole seemed to have sharpened him, sobered him and one could catch a glimpse of his former life, back when there was water, self-assured, confident, a good fisherman.
"T'ru is meeting with Yukka as we speak. As for K'net, there are some who've never seen him who believe this hill is his shell, but others know but keep it secret so as not to scare the others that he is gone with the lake itself."
When Drake approaches, the man considers him a minute and then responds, "No, he seemed human to me, just with scars, lots of em."
Then, the pole went limp and the man swore, disturbed that he lost his fish, but as he relaxed and sat back down, one massive tug pulled him right out of the boat. Refusing to let go of his catch, the man continued away from the group. Seemingly expecting something, Kidwynn acted quickly and was the first to scamper off after the man...

*Kidwynn stays in persuit of the man moving as quickly as she can. Preparing for whatever he might have discovered. Her goal, to catch up with the man and help him pull whatever it is up to the surface. From there, she was only hoping Drake, Arthos, and Incarius had an idea of what she might be up to. She was also hoping that Arthos might have an idea of what the fisherman might have found for deep down, she had a feeling this was going to be trouble and judging from the hard tug off the boat, BIG trouble.*
