Implmentation of New Rules

I'm trying to figure out how and when the new rules take effect. This is what I have pieced together so far. Is it right, wrong, or I’m just crazy?

Sequence of events and change over

Character rewrites need to be submitted for approval by 3-5-05
Character changes do not take affect until 4-1-05 at the start of the event.

In-between event items need to turned in by 3-20-05
All in-between event items are based on old set of rules, including guild structure, trade routes, allegiance points, buildings, etc….
The acceptation is the new house rules will be implemented now so commodities can be made to be used to build items at this event.
The acceptation would the new rules for nobility would be implemented so any military points can be spent now so they can affect the upcoming event

The new rules do not take effect until 4-1-05 at the start of the event. All upkeeps for basic items/buildings/exotic items are postponed until second event. This will give everyone time to everything organized and get upkeep tags prepared. All upkeep tags are converted in-between events so the craftsman need at lest one event to make them so we can upkeep items.
Building, exotic, building upkeeps do not take place until the end of the second event of the year

All magic items will not need to be up kept for 2 events. This will allow a chance for the new trade routes for mystic resources to be implemented bring the new resource in game. All upkeep tags are converted in-between events so the empath needs at lest one event to make them so we can upkeep items.
Magic items upkeep does not need to be turned in until the end of this year’s third event.
Question: If a magic time is not up kept, does stop working forever, or can it be up kept at a later date and the magic comes back and it can be used again?

The requirement of spell and alchemy components is suspended until the second event of the year. This is because there is no trade route for mystic resources and it takes an in-between event for the arcane or alchemist to convert mystic resources to useful components. So the earliest components could become available is the second event.

The new trade routes and guild reorganizations do not take place until the end of the first event of the year.

All in game equipment, spells, alchemy is converted to the new rule system at the start of the game of the first event.

How does this sound?

why such a short time frame on the rewrite. only 5 days. when some folks do not have a copy of their character. coudl at least make it till the 10th of the month giving folks a better chance of reading the book, getting an idae of what they might wish to change too. plus makingit easier on those that do not have computer access all the time. just a few thought on timing there for the masses.

I think the short time frame might be because the GMs believe that currently characters may only need to be tweeked a minor bit under the new rules system.

Wow, just got the book and just painstakenly read it, and all the updates,

We attempted to send in our rewrites last night (after finally being able to read the new book), but the email addy listed for chris elsewhere on this site is incorrect.
