1. Can craftsman create anything other than weapons or armor (i.e. ropes, tables, chairs etc.
2. If so what level do they need to be?
3. Are the buildings and such to be built by cratsmen, if so at what level?

Well sure you can make a rope, but there are alot of things we dont ask you to have tags for thus no need to make them.
If we start making you tag chairs and such then you woul dhave to phys rep it and that gets tough
If it was a plot thing then you would need to be 3rd to make normal items.

yes a craftsman is required to supervise a building. At least 3rd level craftsman. In some cases more than one craftsman... buildings take a long time.
