curious about removal

Post by Kidwynn »

Race changes
The 2 life point gain to all races has been removed.
Why did you remove this?

Also, when is there going to be an updated rulebook to print up?

As said in the general forum post that the rule book will hopefully be printed on March 1st but if not definitly not later than March 7th. Players have about 1 week to point out anything glaringly wrong.

The life points were removed because as was pointed out EVERY combo actually recieved 1 more life point by level 20 than they previously did. We um want to lower life and damage not increase it. Now everyone has between 1 and 2 points less than before and the warrior to non warrior ratio is slightly less.

I see where you are taking things, but my concern is that the net effect of lowering LP by a couple and making sage buffs skill specific/limited to one, is there are now too many one-shot kill possibilities. Combined with the difficulty of ressurection, the game has become geometrically more lethal. I understand if it is because the GM staff is getting older and wants to seriously reduce the duration of battles. :)

Awesome. Just make sure the new alchemy recipies include something pleasant to repel the Dueger aroma. :)

Ya know Vince I wouldnt start throwing the age card around like that, I hear the first sign of age is you start losing things like your hair and butt beauty cotests at holiday parties. Hell You even lost to brad, cmon man the judges had to sit on the floor to review that one.

My demand for a recount has gone unanswered Brian. All I can say, and anyone present for the whole show should confirm, is that I clearly won when the judges were halfway sober. Obviously the final tally was a result of drunken madness.

Of course, the results would have been completely different had Brian, Soco, Taki, and myself not decided to give others a chance at glory by staying out of it. 8)
