Hmm unsure if the people will tell you if it is being bid on or not it all depends on the RP of the trade route.

The word trade route is a missnomer in a way. You see it isnt like you guys are bidding with money, but rather you are bidding with political muscle. You can visualize it as a guild OWNING everything and the people agreeing to work for you because you give them something or maybe they simply like you.

When a person comes to steal your route they are comming in and trying to convince everyone that they are better than you. This obviously means that all race guilds will have an advantage when dealing with their same race.

Now after the RP is all said and done to actually make a real bid there has to be the moving of points. As for the mean spirited people trying to jack up the price well um that is exactly the point. I am praying that guilds will compete and screw each other and constantly inflate the price of trade routes. This is a nessissary component of the system or well it wont be working too well.

Nelkie i would imagine the orcs couldnt offer a bid to the NPCs that the moonie have a trade route with, just so the moonie hvae to bid hugher to keep it, if the orcs dont really have the points. In other words...no bluffing with a bid so the current owner has to up thier bid.
