Shields on your back?

dont make me strap 4 shields together and make me immune to all damage as I move around the battlefild because I will make theshieldmachine of flamming death.

Umm, I'm of the opinion if people want to strap them to their backs fine, but I don't thing there should be any added boons to it.

Actually, I believe Onimaster had already agreed that it should be disallowed by the rules of the LARP. He was just defending the idea that they do provide some protection, if as nothing more than on more layer of resistance between the pointy and the squishy.
