Guild Leader
So if a guild leader does not come to an event, can the guild still give them his allgence and can the leader still use their trading points. Or is the allgence wasted and would it be better to have a guild support a new leader until the old one can come back to the event?

Well they could give the leader alliegence, but the leader would not be able to support themselves nor give the guilds alliegence to house.

I really like the new proposed system and think it has great potential if we have enough PCs. I had a couple issues regarding Military Points. You guys gave a nice explanation of how anyone can vote for nobility, not only house heads. But if the only way to buy/replace military points is through commodities, then nobles seem almost totally dependent on houses. If MPs could be bought with resources, it might even things out.
I also think the ratio is a bit harsh, if a commodity only buys 2 MPs. Obviously I haven't a clue about your formulas for how far an MP goes, but looking at high levels with a cap of around 2000, that seems like an awfully expensive prospect. Is the only way to get MPs back to buy them? I think it would make sense if your base MPs repopped at the first event of the year or something. For example, I am level 1 noble so have a base of 100 MPs and would start every year with this minimum.
Also, it looked like base MPs are the same at each level of noble, at least at lower levels. With buying MPs being so costly, I'm not sure if the hero point is enough motivation to increase a level. Could there be an increase of 25 or 50 MPs per level, just for obtaining it?

Here's another one.
How are mulitple character played by one person in event being handled. Can both characters use their allgenece points? Do the characters count towards the minium number of people in a guiild?

Only one gets to spend allegience thus only 1 counts as a guild member.

New guilds
The reason I asked how we are going to transfer from the old guilds to the new ones is becasue it will drasticly effeect some of the guilds in game currently.
Before, you needed a seperate guild to bring in a high yeilding trade route. Now you feasably could have 1 guild that could bring in 3 high yeilding trade routes. So having mulpile guilds is not way to go, but to have a couple strong guilds.
Just trying to plan some things out.

How can you know that for sure? It still could be that you need to have a strong guild with alot of TP's ( hehe just realized that guilds will be trying to get more TP... for their bungholes ) to get the entire yield of the route. Just because it's possible to have 3 trade routes doesn't mean that all 3 will have high yields. There is obviously alot more to this than we are privy to, like the racial modifiers that were referenced.
Personally I hope they keep us in the dark on that stuff so that the guilds can be more roleplay based as opposed to number crunched.

How does support points from a beucrate work with guilds?
Does support points add into the total trading points a guild has to use for bidding on trade routes?? Becasue if it does, that makes higher level beaucrate cool. A becurate thane could transfer X amount support points to a guild so they could win a bid. HMMM that sounds cool!!
Eric,
I don't know anything that you don't. I'm just looking at the numbers and seeing what makes sense right now. Yes roleplaying is going to be key.

What I'm saying is that before there was a chart that showed multipliers and you could easily see that you needed to have a 3rd or 4th level guild to get a high yield from a route. Now we don't have that information, we have no idea how many TP's are going to be neede for the best routes or the moderate routes, it could be that you still need to have a 6-8th level giuld to get that high yield.

My question/concern is that for the past two years we've all been building up stuff for trade and all so why keep us in the dark now. Shouldn't we be able under the new rules to make certain we have roughly what we think we should have over the past few years?
It's just me probably. but have never really been into being kept or keeping people in the dark.

Dead pirate betrayed by Corbyn...ah well least I made him do his own dirty work when he killed me.
Nothing you have now will be taken away. What you have for trade routes currently will stay roughly the same to start with. We as GMs will not take away a trade route from you. Other guilds on the other hand may covet your trade route and make a play for it. This is all stuff that is game dependent. We are as much in the dark about what is going to happen as you are. It is all dynamic. We are prepared and have mechanics to deal with all sorts of situations that may be initiated by other player groups.

Question
Questions on trying to steal a trade route from another person.
Will the trade route poeple inform the current guild that their trade route is being bid on?
Will this message be brought only if the bid is higher that what is currently being given?
Or will the mesage be given when anyone bids on a trade route?
The reason I ask is I do not want to see trade routes trading points being raised by a couple mean spirited people.
I do not want to see a person or two bid on a trade route and do not even come close to the require trade points, but the trade route people telling the current owners that the trade route is being bidded on. And than the current owners putting more trading points into the route thinking it is in danger. Yes this is simplified example, but this type of action could raise the trade point levels through the roof.
If the stealing o f trade routes works as stated below, than it should work well. The current owners of the trade route do not have to worry about a hostial take over unless they are out bid/ out roleplayed. The curret owners have a session to make it right. The trade people would only inform the current owners of the potential take over if it is posible.
Now I could in left field on this, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
