The attack on the inn

*Curufin, who was one of the few that fought for the inn when the trees attacked, stands near the pit, clutching his bloody side with one hand and holding a blade in the other still dripping with sap.*

"I'm glad to see that all of you have responded to our aid so soon. The constable was taken, and I intend on getting him back. But first things first, many of us were wounded in the fray and Brikal is seriously hurt."

*Curufin turns to Dallid*

"Dallid, you have helped us before.....I am wondering if you would be willing to help us again."

*Curufin pears down the hole*

"The constable is down there. To what end I cannot say. But he WAS taken alive."

*Curufin moves away from the hole and starts putting on armor and collecting his weapons.*

"We shouldn't linger around too much. If we move soon we might still be able to track them..... And everyone should grow eyes in the back of their head....that Druid might be down there. Now who's got that rope?"

And I'm not entirely sure Donovan was taken alive. He fell shortly before I did... I think he was conscious.... but I couldn't do much before that tree thing put me back in bed.

If Donovan is alive then we haven't much time....

And Curufin, I don't care how many times we help restore the time continuum.... WE STILL POST WATCHES!

*After securly tying the ropes together and anchoring the line securly, Azara looks over at Ka, Kathryn, and Atrium.*

Well, seein' as there IS someone this druid bastard took, that settles it, I'm a goin' in.

*Azara proceeds to secure her sheild and shorsword on her and begins climbing down.*

Well, descending into the bowels of the earth with no semblance of a plan, status quo.

*Shakes his head and looks to Nuk*

I have heard tales that your kind have an... affinity with the dark underground if such is true then if you are willing you should probably be our guide along with Azara as she may be able to track whatever took Donovan...

*Pauses in thought for a moment*

Forget it, I'll simply tag along and watch chaos unfold

*Curufin grabs the rope and slides down into the darkness. As soon as his feet touch the solid ground of the floor, he draws his sword, and he scans the area.*

(Arthos waits his turn and than goes down the rope. He pass around the glowing stones when he reachs the bottom and than channels energy into his hand which provides even more light)

Can't have enough light in the dark. (smiles)

Azara you take point, Ka you and are next. I will check to see if the Druid left any surprises for us.

So how exactly does one locate tracks of vines in muddy water? I'm thinking they went down the big hole in the ground but I'm no expert.

Arthos, think we should have our good old sage possibly see if she can find out any more info about this druid while we look in this hole? Or is she already on that seeing as you had the foresight to bring stones?
