Does that 3rd level monk ability with the arrow require a life point expenditure like defensive matrix does for warrior?

Shouldn't the monk say ranged melee attacks? That way there is no confusion as to whether they are immune to magic booms, unless they are.
Also, does the skill work for magic arrow since that is a ranged magic melee attack?

It should say melee attacks and it would work against magic arrow, not against boom

There is no such thing as a ranged melee attack, since melee means hand-o-hand I.E. fist to face or sword/mace/axe to skull/body.

Now it could specify a projectile or missile attacks which would be anything thrown (rocks and daggers and hatchets ...oh my!) and/or anythink thrown by a device (qarrows and bolts/quarrels and bullets ...oh my!)

Or it could day ranged weapon damage, which a boom is not.

If someone is using a packetbow, how do you tell the difference? The calls are the same.

LMAO!!! No it does not take a LP.

For future reference language that uses resist will cost an LP while immune is free.

just a thought monks can still wear medium armor right? the only thing that changed was the wording on the level three skill.
