Evade

Evade is nowhere in the book or in any rule update section. So here are a couple questions about Evade.

When you use Evade, do you say "Evade" or "Resist"?

If your saying "Evade" how am I supposed to know what that means if there no way to find out what Evade does?

Can we get "Evade" but in Combat section? (Much like how Prees is presented there)Evade is a special call. I know it's unlikely but I gotta ask.

Can we just make every item that says Evade say Parry instead and have it say that the item will not prevent disarm attacks? Also unlikely I know.

Even just something in the rule update section would be helpful. I know this seems nit picky but I really just want to be sure how this is supposed to work. I had an item that says evade frontal melee attacks and others say "Evade" works on back attacks. Thank you :D

Wow,

I thought Evade was removed from the game eon's ago. That was one of the reasons it is not in the rule book because the call was suppose to be removed from the game. I can understand your confusion!! :D

As far as I can tell it only comes from items now. Which is surprising seeing that everything was reworked in the off season.

Yeah I thought it was supposed to be gone years ago.

Just hit me up at the event and we'll get the tags rewritten.

'Evade' used to allow you to resist ANY call that wasnt area effect. It was pretty much a universal 'resist'.
So in answer to the question of the 'call', it would simply be 'Resist'.
That being said we can get the tag rewritten to solve all the above problems.

Evade is a term I usually give to NPC's to let PC's know that their attack was evaded.

So, we probably should stop using the term evade since it was an actual call and skill at one point.

True Resist would probably be a better term.
