I hope everyone had a good time.

Sorry I couldn't make the event but allergies that were kicking in were turning worse and well I had to work Monday morning so I felt better not risk it.

So tell me about the event please.

*waves* After I had a shaky start and a few bad patches on Friday night (Not anyone else's fault) and a lack of being able to get myself to sleep the whole weekend, I overall had a good, fun time. It was a rough weekend for me, personally, but not because of plots or lack of plots or NPCs or anything like that. I think it was from not playing for awhile and having trouble breaking into my comfortable zone.

My switch-over character Saturday wasn't quite as satisfying this weekend as she has been in the past...having trouble playing her in a consistent way, which is actually in-character for the character, but is disjointing for everyone else and complicated for me. I'm definitely thinking I might enjoy playing a character with a few more combat skills at my disposal in the future instead.

Thanks to the folks at the Tipsy Tavern on Friday night for giving me water, and for Dallid basically telling my character to suck it up (I hope you got your thirty undead at some point ). And for Eli rambling off a bunch of stuff and then giggling about it like he usually does. "Oh hi! Glad you're not dead!"

Thanks for the roleplay from a bunch of the new (and returning) folk on Friday night. Thanks for the in-my-head, out of character giggles...when a creepy person in a brown, hooded robe that you can't see where/if they have any weapons tells you something disturbing, you should probably find someone with a weapon, y'know, just in case. Although Jessica's (?) Ga'Vin character got up and went in the building at this point, quickly.

Phil's gal-friend in the House of Chance sitting and roleplaying with me until we were attacked by monsters of some kind.

Byron's alchemist really helped me get "in-the-mode" with the character I was on Friday night.

Especial thanks for the intense roleplay with Vaun on Friday night. Made playing the character worth it in a huge way and really took things in a direction I was not expecting. Looking forward to seeing where things go from there.

Sorry for the people I missed Friday, but I got to a point where I just had to switch over in the wee hours of the morning if I wanted to keep enjoying myself, and it made sense, in-character.

Thanks to Mike for putting up with my check-in requests for tags for certain items that don't do anything, my plethora of questions/commentary/general jitters, and actually for the staff putting up with me at all. :D

Loved my new quarterstaff, although hopefully someone grabbed it for me because I forgot to grab it when I left. There is an X on the bottom.

The zombie attack LATE Saturday night at the House of Chance was hilariously fun. I loved the sound effects.

Thanks to everyone for making me remember what I REALLY love about Final Haven: Getting to meet/hang out with some really, really awesome people.

Also...

"Baby shark, do do, do do.
Baby shark, do do, do do.
Baby shark, do do, do do.
5 Crush!"

Still fighting for that angsty musical episode of Final Haven.

I had a great time, very happy to return to larping and my first final haven event. Love the new coin system. (jingle my coin bag) Glad the weapons went over so well, hope everyone who bought one enjoys all the violence and bad intent that they were created for. I'll have more at the next event.

Good to see that we have calvery now, hope Korrigan gets to keep the inns new bouncer.

The event seemed a little slow at times, but with a small game staff and the town split in two thats understandable. Plus it gave me alot of time to make runs to the bank and npc camp for goodies, and commishion orders. (Everyone who made inquraries will get a pm with what we offer)

The OOG chatter was a little much at times, but I'm guilty of that as well.

The number of people I hardly saw told me I've got to get to the house of chance more often.

Angie sorry I hit you in the face with a sleep, Happy, Your awesome, but I hate your fairies (I was forced to sing and dance, I forgot half the words to drunken sailor, and my little jig during old brown mare left much to be desired)

MMMMMMMMMMMMM, bacon cake.

Would love to see more one on one fights, honor duels and what not, gang piling a monster is all well and good, but some people I think need a little one on one pounding. Plus then the npcs don't get sick of being mugged all the time.

In all a little slow but awesome to be back none the less.

I had fun this event. I showed up late on Friday but I immediately found things happening. I didn't even make it into the inn before somebody came up to me an ask for help. When I got to the inn after attempting to assist some townspeople I noticed that there were people working on a puzzle. Everywhere I went there were things going on.

I stayed busy and had lot's of fun role-playing with all the different Npc's. Some were refugee's, some were abusive father's, a couple of people who had spent years studying a black spot. I felt there was a great deal of variety as far as the things that were happening. My props go out to all our awesome NPC's and GM's. They work hard to give us a wide variety of character's to interact with and plots that anyone can be a part of.

I know there are a lot of "To be continued..." things going on out there but I will say the same thing I said at Winter Haven. This is the beginning of the season so this is when all those big things get introduced to us that we have to keep dealing with through out the year. I can't wait to see how things play out.

Oh and the Christines kid's were awesome.

It's gonna be a good year.

Chirs, the event SO DID NOT SUCK! It was amazing and I was sorry I had to miss the first part of Friday night. But as I told someone, if you get me to stay up until 5 am both nights, you know I'm having fun...

I guess I was on the opposite spectrum of slowness, I had way too much to do. So much, in fact, that we didn't even get to finish all the plots that we were working on. Every time I'd try to get a group together they'd get stolen to go work on something else. Or the NPC staff would be busy on another plot and when they were available everyone else had wandered into other plots. Thank you though, for putting decipher script back into game, that's a skill I hadn't used in 2 years!

All the stuff with the elves and Gol was heartbreaking and amazing all in one. I'm just glad he's back, even if Em used a rather unorthodox method for returning his spirit to his body. And this year's game of tag was much more complex than last years, even if fewer people participated. Peace, your move with the pole arm as I was coming out the door rocked.

Wow were there a lot of new faces this event! I know I probably missed a few as far as intorductions went. I was VERY impressed with all the new characters and players. Noble, it was awesome when you called me out about choosing Mohdri over you to scout. Fenn, I love that you are the connsumate merchant in game. Robert was the perfect gentleman, I haven't gotten my hand kissed in a long time, it was a nice touch. :) Mara, I loved the show tunes drifting out through the window as I was talking to Atreus outside.

BIG thank you to Dani for taking over cooking when I was too busy to or absent. You rock! And make some awesome cookies, I might add. For those considering meal plan for next event, the bacon burger dogs will be returning....

As for the political system, that numbers still need tweaking. It was funny having to go around looking for donations to the town in order to feed everyone. Also very telling about characters to see who contributed what. But I like this system the best and once we get it adjusted I think it will work well for the game.

And everyone is welcome to family dinner with Atrum, Esmerelda, Em, Gol and Gol's girlfriend...

Great event. Thanks to the GM and NPC staff who helped to make it so.

I had alot of fun. But it's always fun for me when I'm playing as Rhul. Though I think I'm gonna need a bell around my neck or something so I don't scare so many people when I come out of the same dark woods that the "bad things" are coming out of.

"Ahhhh, Monster!!! *Pant, Pant* Nevermind, it's just Rhul, we're ok."

The time Ziera, myself and Atrum came out of the woods together during the elf fight, I thought we were going to give someone a coronary, seeing as we are all completely in black, lol.

I also loved siting down at the blackjack table, plopping a bolt of cloth on "Odd" (I thought, why not, I'd play what I am) and going to bed with 3 and a half gold.

Also, basically "clothslining" an attacking Elf witha 5 crush as he tried to run past me during the fight on Sasturday night was the highlight of that fight. That and roaring, "That's right! The best way to kill a beastman is with another beastman!"

Or when the child from teh wagon asked me if I was a monkey, and my response was "Well, I rather like to think of myself as more of a 'very ugly man'."

Heh, yeah i had an amazing time out there this past weekend. I'm kinda sad that there weren't too many people out to see Haku's most heroic death, but i'm sure that the people that were there will be able to fill others in. I'm just glad i had another character ready to go... NPC'ing was awesome (especially the charging and faintng possums and the monkey thing) and so were all the different plots going at once. I think there was one time we actually had 6 different groups waiting at NPC camp for different plots.

I think the only real issue i had this weekend was the amount of out of character talk. Granted i was probably guilty of a good share (it's something i've been working on) and it never was really an issue with any story or plot lines, but it's hard to stay in character and then talk about the new Star Trek movie (which i still haven't seen...) Other than that, i had a great time and i can't wait for the next event, mainly because i can't wait to see how my new character develops.

And i also want to thank everybody who made jessica's first event awesome. She's still talking about her new character and what she wants to do different for the next event... All in all i think she had an amazing time, it being her first event i don't think she knew what to expect, but i'm fairly certain she's almost as excited as i am for the next event.

She was awesome. Sorry about that almost getting killed by zombies on the way back to the bathroom. Welcome to FH, lol.

Actually, all the new and returning folk were super awesome and I hope they make it back.

Overall I had a good time. Seeing Zeira get married, adopt a baby, get divorced, lose the baby, all in one weekend was hilarious. The elf battle was definitely my favorite part. I was so happy when I didn't get hit by river of stone. There were a lot of unfinished plots going on when the event ended and I can't wait till next event so we can finish them up. I really enjoyed gambling at the House of Chance with my two brothers (Theon and Brey). We three pirates sat at the table and by the end of the night the House of chance was down about 13 gold. Rhul helped with that too. I want to thank everyone at Npc camp for running the event as smoothly as possible. I thought the event went a little slow at times and I would have liked to see a lot more battles but all in all, I had fun.
