There is going to be a gathering of FH players (known as a Nesting) at CJ's in Muskegon on Broadway on April 8, at a yet undetermined time in the afternoon. We will be congregating to discuss FH stuff, and any new players interested in joining the game are encouraged to come down, hang out, ask some questions, and in general get associated with some of the FH family.

Hopefully Taki will post on this thread with more concrete info.

This has been a Public Service Announcement. Thank you, and have a nice day.

I will still be in North Carolina. So I will not make it. Less than a weeks notice is kinda lame.

Isn't that the day before Easter? I'd love to drag my crew up there... but some would have an adversion to the time away on Easter Weekend.

Easter weekend would be the weekend after the "Nesting"..aka the week before the FH event.

Shouldn't that be the other way around?

Well, it looks like there's a sudden opening in my schedule...

Easter is on April 16, not April 9. As such, you may not use Easter as an excuse. As far as a week notice is concerned, I apologize, but the planning for nesting went something like this:

April 1 at Cadillac Jack's 11:45 PM
Joe- Hey Taki, are we going to do a nesting?
Taki- Sure, when?
Joe- I don't know, when sounds good?
Taki- Next Saturday?
Joe- Then it's settled.

Sorry to spring this on you guys, but it's all I've got.

*pokes self* For some reason I thought that Easter was THIS weekend. >.<

In that case, I'll see who I can rouse. In case we're up late, is there a place to crash for those of us driving 3+ hours?

Think I’d better be looking at my taxes this weekend.

Yeah, that might be wise.

Public Service Announcement: Part Deux

I would also like to note that, for those interested, there is going to be combat practice (albeit a short one) at McGraft Park in Muskegon prior to the Nesting as per the Saturday ritual, assuming the weather doesn't go bug nuts. Courtenay and I are in possession of some of the weapons, with the rest being located at Ryan's house and/or Roi's car.

Also, it would be nice if Taki *cough cough* could give us a concrete time for the Nesting, to determine the likelihood of said practice. If the nesting takes place at 2 PM, then obviously no practice. If it happens at 5 PM, then practice becomes much more feasable.

As far as accomodations are concerned, I'm sure something can be worked out, but negotiations should begin soon. I would volunteer my own place, but it sounds like some of Courtenay's friends are coming up from Chicago and will be taking up the majority of free space. I would like to nominate Phil, as he is unlikely to post on this thread and defend himself :D.

Also, in regards to this remark:

Remember kids: violence may not solve everything, but it certainly is satisfying.

Ha, I can post...:P

And as for accomodations, it is possible we can throw together a space or two for people who would like to come to the nesting from a ways away. I would just need at least a days advance warning to set up a space or at least make sure we will have the room.. as the amount of people sleeping here changes on a weekly, sometimes daily basis.. hehe.
