*Azra sits near the fire, taken in the warm glow. She looks for Zeira to Theon, and grins broadly*

Zeira, with all your traveling experience, and studying, you can't even manage to light a fire?

*She laughs at her joke, then tilts her head to the side, smiling at Zeira. After a moment, she turns her attention the rest of her companions*

I'll be on first watch again. I will do all I can to ensure no harm befalls anybody, and I sincerely hope that everybody else feels the same. We're only as strong as our weakest member, and we need to remember that.

Malachi chuckles

"I'm fine with going and checking out the other group, though not alone. I'm confident in my abilities, but not that confident! I doubt if they could hold pace with us anyway."

He looks to Mortimer

"Is that elixer of yours common enough for the other group to have it?"

"Yes, I'll help scout the area for signs of other groups. However, I suggest we wait until the third watch. If we are being followed, our persuers may still be a ways back, and may not yet settle to camp for several hours."

"I meant all four of you together. You're the least intimidating members of this group. And you got the coolest heads. If they are not a threat maybe we can share a camp for the evening and get some information from them. Sound good?"

*Azra nods*

I have no objections to checking out this other camp. I agree with Dallid, that we should wait until later in the night before heading that direction.

Cristo looks at Zeira

Are you saying that i don't have a cool head and I'm intimidating?

Cristo grins and laughs

Zeira speaks with fear in his voice

"N...n...no...I was just s...saying that m...maybe...Please don't hurt me!

Zeira curls into a ball and cowers

Cristo walks over to Zeira's pathetic form

"Hahahahaha bow down before me!"

Cristo pretends to stomp Zeira into the ground laughing menacingly with a large grin on his face. He eventually stops and helps Zeira get up and gives him a pat on the back.

"Well that was fun,hehe..."

Robert, as usual has not said much, but turns and laughs a little as Cristo pretends to smash Zeira.

Daniel was much less talkative today. He had a grim look upon his face keeping up with mortimer and continually pushing the group forward. he sits at the edge of camp staring off into the darkness of night.

As with the night before Gravin and Paul took off scouting once camp was made.

Robert says to the group: " I am concerned about Virgil. He acts strange and with a purpose I do not understand. Perhaps it is time for a stroy. Does anyone have one to tell?"

*Azra watches the direction Gravin and Paul had gone, seemingly lost in her own thoughts. Upon Robert's comments, she turns to him and sighs.*

I know very little, nay, I know nothing of Virgil, save for his name. Zeira or Dallid may know him better, as they have been around longer than I.

Malachi does not raise his eyes from the little block of wood he's been carving. The knife moves around the block of wood as though it was an extension of his hand.

"Virgil has just as much or more reason to hate the elves as any of us. I'll not get into details, because that is not my place, but I tell you that regardless of his fiery demeanor that there are very few people I'd want in this party other than he."

He pauses to blow some wood shavings off his project.

"The past has scarred him, but he has no less conviction than anyone here."

“Virgil is very focused and determined to achieve an objective. One I would assume is in line with our own – gathering the information necessary to take the necessary actions regarding the Elven threat. That level of trust, I believe, is required for us to work as a successful team.”

“I also suspect he is most comfortable operating solo. While he understands he must work closely with everyone here if we are to have the greatest chance of achieving our goals, doing so is not in his nature, and he may have trouble relating to others. I hope we can all understand that about him, and strive to work with him as he strives to work with us.”

"We should just keep an eye on him. I don't care what his past is, I'm not comfortable with him always behind us for hours. We don't know what he's doing or if he's in trouble. We don't need anybody backtracking us. It's more important that we're all together in case something happens."

sometime late in the night Virgil comes back from the woods and sits warming up near the fire, he eventually falls asleep sitting next to it

Theon nods to Virgil as he enters the camp.

"Nice night wouldn't you say" He says to anyone awake and listening.

He keeps his eyes into the darkness
