*Calvin looks up from his drink as Kathryn walks out*

"M'Lady Kathryn, if i may say even more Beautifull. Seems that this place suits you somehow. Pardon if i overstep my bounds."

*Lambic refills Kathryn's glass and then begins setting up the pitchers he has been filling behind the bar. There are pitchers of ale and water and bottles of wine and fruit nectar.*

The bar is open for the time of the meeting, help yourselves *looking at Calvin and Aidan* within limit.

*Then Lambic carries a bottle of wine and a glass to the new comer in the corner.*

"Thankee Barkeep" The Elf responds. "The road is long to Haven. A good drink is just what is in order. I remember the wines of my homeland. Afraid I shant taste those spirits again." He chuckes a little and pairs it with a distant stare. "Not even sure where that is anymore, home. I left it a long time ago, long for my kind even. I keep looking for it though. The world has changed. Things are not as I remembered them...but I shall not forget the wine." He takes a sip. "This is not it...but it will do. The name is Lex. There may be some travellers looking for me." The newcomer descends into his drink and smoke.

*Kathryn starts to smile again in Calvin's direction, but gives a start at hearing the name Lex, a little of her water slopping over her hand. She shakes her head slightly and mutters something to herself under her breath*

*mutter*...just because the name is the same...*more mutters*

*Lex shoots Kathryn a dirty look*


"The Lady wants not for Grace, I say." The odd Elf smirks a little and opens a leather clad book.

*Kathryn arches an eyebrow at that while calmly wiping her hand off*

Your name merely reminds me of one from my past, good elf. Do you take offense that someone else shared your name?

"I find it troubling that a lady of the sword would allow herself to so affected by a duplication of names. Clearly you do not possess the discipline that blade would imply."

*the Elf smugly gathers his things*

*Kathryn calmly takes a sip while the elf tries to goad her*

*A quirky smile crosses the corners of the Elf's thin, taught lips. At the Lady's last comment, he stops gathering his things and sets himself down again. He takes a few puffs from his pipe. He looks Kathryn over*

Perhaps you will join me for a glass of wine and a few moments of conversation?

*Extends a hand to the table before him*

*Kathryn smiles slightly*

*Looks over at Corbyn and Maximus*

*Kathryn takes the offered seat, water still in hand, deftly moving her sword out of the way*

This Lex character...tell me a bit of him. He sounds quite formidable. Anyone going around touting my namsake must be...well...daunting.
