Cristo looks at Zeira

"I agree with Zeira, we can't afford to slow down"

Cristo looks sternly at Virgil

"Those who would slow us down either need to speed up or go back"

Brey nods to his brother Cristo in agreement

"Damn straight! This ain't no childrens outing..."

Malachi walks over to Virgil, casting an eye at the rest of the group

"We are a group, and we should behave like one. This bickering is intolerable."

He turns to Virgil and speaks softly, then turns to Christo, Brey, and Zeira

"I would speak with you all alone. Gather around."

He speaks softly into the huddle

Virgil comes back from ahead of the group and gets a drink from mortimer, he then resumes the pace, clearly mad. "you want to know zeira, i hunt, people, and i like what i do, i find it fun, and the last time we spoke you were a ghost, im starting to prefer it that way, im not going to push the issue as this is not the time, so dont speak to me, im sick of this bitching and we have a long trip, if it continues, i find its hard to talk without a tounge, mortimer im going to drop pace and shadow our group, i will follow our tracks, and see if somone else does the same." Virgil stops and drops out of the sight of the group.

Theon walks on next to his brothers and the group grinning and shaking his head, hands resting naturally and his hilts.

"At least the weather is nice." He says trying to break the ice.

*Azra sighs, and looks between her companions, then to Theon, nodding appreciatively.*

It is nice weather to be traveling in. We should be receptive to any good that comes of this long journey. We need something to bring smiles to our faces.

Briefly, tauntingly, it begins to rain, a dounpour like no other with torrential winds making it difficult to even walk, and then, as quickly as it arrived, it vanishes again, the sun smiling down as if nothing out of the ordinary had just occurred.

With the pace quickened once again, the feeling of going faster than possible returns, and there is barely enough time to notice the changing of terrains, focused instead on footing and breathing. Occasionally, an animal crosses their pace, an animal that is sometimes killed for its meat. Usually though, it seems as if Mortimer takes great strides to avoid any animal, any person, stopping often to sniff the air as he always seems to like to do.

When at last night arrives, most are thankful for the break, even though they feel less tired this evening than last.

"We should wait a little while before checking on the other group, assuming we're going to. I'd like them to be asleep or at least mostly."

"We made good time today."

Zeira starts gathering wood

"I'll take third watch."

Daine sits upona fallen log, eating some trail rations.

I'll be damn interested to see if we are still being followed, at the pace we're setting. If they're still there that alone makes me suspicious. I agree with Mortimer. Let's wait awhile before investigating at all...we should see if they light a fire first, because we should be able to see it against the dark without getting close.

Theon walks over to a tree and puts down his pack getting out some rations and begins to eat.

"It helps me get down these rations by pretending it is bacon cake, or maybe a very dry stew.....or a brick. Damn I need a drink."

He takes out a water skin and takes a drink, then a bite to try to soften his meal.

"I will be on what ever watch is needed."

He looks at his brothers and nods.

Brey looks over to the direction where Virgil was last seen, and spits on the ground in disgust.

"If ever that man decides to take action against Zeira...."

Brey drags his finger across his throat

"I won't be the only one to deliver justice!"

He then sits on the ground, and begins eating his rations

"I'll take second watch"

Brey winks at Zeira, and laughs

Cristo sits down next to brey and begins wolfing down his rations.

"I'm also curious to see if they kept up, I hate being followed. Nothing makes me more on edge. Except for maybe threats to my friends."

Cristo nods at Zeira

"But lets try to not worry about any of that until our mission is complete. Then we'll take care of any loose ends"

Cristo winks at brey and smiles

"I'll take second watch with Brey."

"Your right Cristo, now isn't the time to be trying to settle such disputes. Thanks for having my back, I appreciate it. You too Brey."

Zeira turns to Daine

"I know the whole whispering thing kinda irritates you and I don't blame you. When Malachi pulled us to the side he just told us to not to escalate the situation between me and Virgil. If you ever got any questions about what we're doing all you have to do is ask. We're a team."

Zeira tries to light the fire. It's obvious he is very inexperienced at the task. After a couple attempts he throws his flint and steel to Theon

"I'm no good at lighting fires. Work your magic Theon O master of the flame. I think we should sent a small group to check out the other group. Malachi, Dallid, Azra and Mortimer would be the best choices in my opinion. Is there anybody else who wants to go?"[/i]

Theon goes to the fire pit and strike the flint and steel and gets a small fire going. He then goes to his brothers brey and cristo.

"Your fuses are too short. take a minute and breath. nothing is going to happen to zeira, but I've seen that look on your faces before and we aren't going to make home safe or even to haven if everyone is worried about a fight within the group, while the enemy gets around us."

He gives his brothers a wink and goes to zeira and hands him his flint and steel.

"We all came here for a reason. Lets try not forget why."

Theon puts his hand out and shakes zeira's hand.

"Thank you for not acting....like typical Zeira."

Then he goes and stokes the fire.
