"Well I've decided what I'm doing. I go where you go Zeira."

"Good point Robert, if we run they will probably catch up to us eventually. Lets get ready for a fight then. Looks like some of you will finally get to have some revenge."

"Here's a plan. Malachi, you and Egrens people stay in the cabin. Azra, you stay in here. If the elves get to the door Malachi can hold it and you can shoot them from behind. Dallid, you stay in here too, if somebody gets hurt this will be our fallback. That's who is going to be in the cabin."

"The rest of us are going to be outside. When the elves get close enough our best bet is to charge them. That way they will have a harder time fleeing and they can't use their arrows and magic. It's hard to concentrate when somebody is beating the crap out of you"

"When they run for reinforcements, and they will because we're about to beat them into the ground, Azra you will be the first line of defense. If Azra misses or doesn't kill the elf, Virgil, Christo, Theon, and Brey is in charge of tracking it down and killing it before it can get help. If two try and run then Theon and Virgil go after one and Christo and Brey go after the other."

"Daine, I want you to avoid combat if you can but we still need you outside. Your a smaller target so they will probably avoid shooting at you. If somebody falls it's your job to bring them to Dallid. If you fall I'll bring you to Dallid."

"Mortimer you also need to stay in the cabin. If we lose our guide we can't get to Haven."

"If we start to get overtaken or four or more of us fall, we fall back to the cabin. All of us. But I hope that's not going to be the case."

"If you have a problem with the plan, now's the time to say something. If not, let's get ready to teach these tall eared freaks a lesson in why you don't mess with the best!"

Egren frowns at something Zeira said and then suggests, "Your mission is to go to where the elves live and you plan on taking this item so that it doesn't fall into their hands? How does that make sense. No, you help us with this threat now, and we will take it wherever you want it to end up, like wherever you're from, and we'll call it even. We're alive, you have whatever this is in a safer place than Haven, and they don't--sounds like a good deal to me." And then, retrieving a long sword that had seen its share of fights, says, "And we're simple folk, not helpless. We can help with the fight."

“Indeed, the Elves know of this cabin - they will never leave you along Egren. It must be left behind. Perhaps one of us can guide you back to Far Reach. But now, your added numbers will aid greatly against the immediate threat.”

“Yes, you must charge them. They will attack from a distance and will not close. No one should pursue them alone – at least two per Elf. Should one fall, another should focus on bringing the wounded back to this cabin.”

Cristo draws both his swords and smiles

"Well I'm ready. If anything crazy should happen I want you all to know that it's been great travelling with you guys. Just in case I don't get a chance to say it later."

*Azra bites her lip before reaching back to grab an arrow and nock it. She mutters something to herself, that sounds like "We have no choice", then turns to Zeira and nods*

If there isn't any other diplomatic approach to this.... Obviously, they've already attacked. We have to defend ourselves.

*Her tone says she's more talking to herself than Zeira*

Daine starts to sigh, and then snorts in irritation at the situation, nostrils flaring.

"If that's what we have to do, then that's what we have to do, innit?

As it stands, I can't see a better way out of this then fighting, cause if we run they'll just chase us - right to where we are trying to sneak into, unless we're gonna skulk back to Far Reach.

My hammer's seen at least one major Sylvandari face, in return for taking my eye, and if any other's want to feel it, I'll just have to oblige them, I guess.

*he turns to Ziera* Don't worry about me, this chainmail's good enough, if it comes to that. Long as I don't let 'em hit me with magic, anyway.

Robert turns to Egren "You never told us when you dug that item up"

Egren turns to Robert and says, "Well, just moments before you all showed up, I guess."

Brey still holding his coated long sword, now draws his short sword from his side.

Well all I have to say about charging them is, they're in trees. That means as soon as we try to climb up those trees we will most definately be shot in the face, and then blasted by magic. None of us have ranged weapons except for Azra who will be staying inside. So how exactly will we be charging them? Are we goanna charge the tree trunks?? I say we need to find a way to get them out of those tree's like a distraction of some kind. Or a new plan.

Looks to Brey

"Odds are they aren't actually in the tree's. Just hiding in the highly wooded areas for cover. If we get right under the tree an elf is in they will have a hard time firing their bows anyway. It's hard to shoot straight down because the branches get in the way."

Looks over to Egren

"Sounds good to me. When we're done with the elves Virgil can take you back to Far Reach and they can figure out what it does."

*All of you prepar for battle expecting the elves to strike at any minute.

Time passes...

Virgil is no where to be found

Some more time passes....


The wind begins to pickup and when you gaze upwards you see dark clouds begin to gather. *

Noticing this, MOrtimer frowns. "A storm? Now? That sure came out of nowhere."

Zeira paces around the cabin. You can tell he is obviously frustrated by the way he keeps pounding the butt of his spear on the floor. He address's the group once again

"These weird storms are really starting to irritate me. And so is Virgil. I think they might be connected. The reason he's been backtracking has just been made more apparent. There is another group of people are tailing us. Luckily I think we know some of them. Either that or Virgil got arrowed. Which in my opinion is still good news."

"If they aren't going to attack us then now is the time to strike. As soon as the rain comes down we charge. It will be harder for them to attack us with bows and magic then. If we go out there and realize no one is there than we high tail it out of here. We'll run and hope the rain covers our tracks. Or at least slows them down until we can find a better plan. Unless you want to stay and see what happens."
