*Azra nods to Dallid* They are indeed the party we met last night..

*She gestures to Torren* This is Torren.

*Then she turns to the rest of the brothers and inclines her head* Although, we haven't met formally, Torren was the only one we spoke with. My name is Azra, I'm from Far Reach

The harshness fades from Malachi's voice as he turns to Egren

"I am Malachi. Azra and myself ventured into your camp a day ago, where we had a discussion with Torren."

When he speaks of Torren, his eyes travel to him

"I am sorry for my deception. At the time, I feared that if I told you the whole of our mission it would put you and your family in danger."

He glances back towards the door

"Although it seems a moot point now..."

Virgil gives a curt nod to Robert than carefully opens and slips out the door heading back were they came from

Something that Azra says clearly makes Torren nervous. He looks at his father, clearly confused, but he says, "Um, yeah, last night. We had a nice chat."

All of the men tighten their grips on their weapons.

Egren, always calm, says, "yes, well, as soon as your man is able, I imagine you will want to be on your way. We won't take offense. All of you are clearly busy and have more important things to do."

Brey raises an eyebrow at Egren, and his sons

It seems as if something Azra said has made you nervous. Care to share it with us, I don't want there to be any misunderstandings between our group, and yours!

“A moment, if you please. This situation is most curious. Last night, you were far behind us. Yet though we traveled swiftly, you managed to get well ahead of us today. We also found tracks seeming to start without origin not far away. Do you perhaps possess a means of teleportation?”

Egren raises his eyebrows at the mention of teleportation and says, "Look, we don't want any trouble. All of you have clearly been through an ordeal. I understand that takes a toll on the entire body. So rest, if you need to."

He pauses a moment, wondering if he should add more. "We ourselves are mostly simple folk, some trained and all capable but simple. We keep to ourselves because the world makes more sense here among family. We don't travel much, so forgive me if we come across rude or don't understand all the rules of hospitality."

“Your hospitality has been generous, given the circumstance, and we are indeed grateful. Trust we certainly do not wish to cause you any trouble. If you indeed intend us no harm, then we most assuredly will do you no ill – even should you happen to be Elves or lycanthropes.”

Dallid looks to his fellow travelers from Far Reach. “Agreed?”

*Virgil walks in the door*

"No traces...of anything, not one single elf, arrow, or us, nobody was ever there, and as we ran here that wind swept the arrows out of the sky...now, im not elven, or good with magic, but i think magic is at work here, and it may not be elven, there are a few things i can think of."

1- "There were no elves and it was all an illusion, if so this could all be as well."

2- "there were elves and they didnt chase us, if this is the case there are two reasons, there is something here they fear, or there is something here on there side and they know we will soon be dead."

Cristo glares at virgil, holding an arrow in his hand.

"Well we can be sure that they weren't illusions since I have the arrow that struck me, and I would also like to suggest that the next time someone says "Down, down down!", you drop down instead of peeking behind a tree and dropping your cape like an arrogant fool! That arrow could have hit me in the head instead of my shoulder and it would've been your fault!

"well at least i wouldnt have to listen to you complain now would i, now if everyone is done crying we can get to the matter at hand, why the elves didnt follow us, and were we go next, Mortimer you have been quiet, what is your opinion."

Theon stands in a flash with a look in his eyes his brothers and Malachi haven't seen for some time as he looks to Virgil.

"If you talk to my brother like that again, you won't have to worry about the elves any more. Now if we can't complete what it is we came out here for then we need to go back and figure something else out."

With a frustrated look on his face Theon turns and walks to his brothers side.
