*Given Torren's seemingly acceptance of their intrusion, Azra turns her attention to Dallid and Paul as well. She held her hand to her mouth all the while, her eyes glistening as they filled with water, but none ever fell.*

(Assuming Paul is in the low negatives)
“The wound is currently grievous, but he will be whole shortly provided we are not disturbed.”

Cristo looks around to check everyone's condition and then sits down and starts tending to his wound. (Cristo starts healing himself) Cristo looks at Malachi
"I'll be fine. Do we have time for me to tend to my wound or not? If not it can wait."

Anyone looking back will quickly notice the absence of any pursuit.

Daine remains quiet as everything goes on. He has no knowledge of why anyone would know the men in the cabin, but nevertheless still shows relief at finding some sort of safe haven after their flight.
He had begun to interpose himself between Daniel and Mortimer, but Malachi get there first.
"My name's Daine, Daine Ironfeld, and we come in peace." he says, setting his hammer upright against the doorjamb and introducing himself to the cabin's residents. "...But it's damn likely those following us don't. We stumbled upon some elves, and they fired upon us, so we decided to follow his (gesturing to Mortimer) advice to head here, at the very least to warn someone that they're in the area.

The oldest gentleman turns to the youngest and says, "Well don't just stand there, get some water, lend a hand. Immediately everyone is moving, getting supplies, "helping" the healer, who really needs no assistance. Slowly Paul awakens, still pale.
When he seems stable, the older man, finally satisfied, says, "Now, who are you people?"
Torren, for his part, just stares ahead, offering no answers...

As people chatter Virgil walks up to Robert.
"seeing as we are not being persued i would like to back track and see if i can find any sign of our attackers and what there doing...
He looks around not waiting for others to volunteer to come.
....alone if possible"

OOG: Because sometimes things get confused online, my last post, written at about the same time as Daine's, would make sense coming prior to his statement. And in case it was missed, Gravin is with the group, even helping with Daniel. You may now return to your regular scheduled programming.

“Others who have taken an arrow – gather around so your wounds may be attended”
As Dallid begins his healing circle, he finally can focus on Torren and his group.
“I apologize for my rude entry, and thank you for recognizing our desperate need. I am Dallid. We fled this way when a party of Elves discovered and attacked us. “
He glances out the door.
“Although I see no sign of them now. Fortunate, but I don’t understand why the pursuit was halted. Is this place hidden from their eyes?”

Many furtive glances are exchanged amongst the men when elves are mentioned. The eldest again speaks.
"I am Egren, and these my sons, and we appreciate the warning. We want no business with elves, certainly. I cannot tell you why the pursuit was halted, but I'm happy for it. Their eyes should see our home as easily as yours, but tell me, what is it that brings all of you out this way?"

Brey begins to coat his longsword with an unknown liquid(utilize poison)
Those elves appeared out of nowhere last time, and who's to say they don't reappear just as fast! We have lost no men this is a good thing, but our focus now should be what to do next! I think those with the keenest eyes should keep watch outside while the rest either make plans for escape or get ready to defend the cabin.
Brey looks at the old man
We'll all have time to explain ourselves later for now lets focus on what to do next! Who'll join me to keep watch outside?

Cristo nods his head as his brother speaks.
"I'll take watch with you after my wounds have healed."

Zeira checks himself for holes and then approaches Egren
"We are traveling to to the Final Haven. Many of us lost family during the cataclysm and are have been searching for them for quite some time. I have heard rumors that many people flocked there and we were hoping to find some of our lost loved ones and friends. Unfortunately that isn't so easy because of the elves, they pretty much control the place and won't let anyone in. On top of that we decided to start our expedition out of Caldonia, a place at war with the elves. Our goal is to get there before this erupts into a full scale war."

Zeira turns to the rest of the group
"Apparently the elves have found a way to teleport into these lands with either a one way portal or a spell of some kind. Those were the tracks we just found. That will make the journey even more difficult and it leaves us with a dilemma. Do we continue on to the Final Haven or do we warn the Caldonians of the elves in their lands?"

Robert turns to Virgil: "Please go with all haste and see what you can see."
"Gravin, scout the perimiters and see if you can find sign of the enemy."
Robert then walks into the cabin to check on Paul.
