The rest of the night goes uneventfully. You awake to a foggy morning with the promise of rain.

So Kels, feeling awake enough to go scouting with me this morning so I can see if you have picked up anything I have taught you. Thus not only helping Arthos and I out, but making certain nothing bad happens out there.

*She stand there and waits for Kels to reply.*

*Dallid is awake and standing near the edge of the encampment, staring longingly into the surrounding wilderness. At last he shakes his head and turns to the others.*

"Let us break camp and be on our way. With the threat of rain, a cooked meal is unlikely. Trail rations while we hike would seem our best bet. By Lao's estimate, we may well arrive at Brokehill today."

I do hope we make it to this place for the further away we get the more I am wondering what the status of things are in Haven.

That is good news Dallid, that we may reach our destination today. I am eager to arrive and assess any potential threat to the Haven, and see if we can determine what exactly happened to the residents of Brokehill.

*emerging from under his morning damp knapsack, he stumbles about while rubbing his eyes. Finally locating the fire he grabs breakfast*

...can't put the fire in the same spot... where's that tree again... I thought I had a... *sigh* oh well, off I go.

*grabbing his pack and rifling through it he walks over to Shale and Lambic. Hushed words are exchanged and items handed over before Rahl trots off into the forest*

Shale yawns stretching and looking around the camp and at the dark sky. "Seems a fine morning to hike through the mud. Don't suppose you have a rain slick spell Ug? Maybe a wetness Resist?" He laughs and packs his bedroll and portions out a few of his cured sausage and trail rations.

"Any odd happenings since we bedded down?"

*Ug yawns loudly, an initial foul odor from his breath, replaced by the smell of roses. He then pulls some red petals from his pack and rubs them under his armpits.*

Hmm...me not got no anteywatur...hmmm...me culd maybe mak de ground opun up and shoot fire frum de bowelz uf fantaruh up into de hevuns and evapurate de rain.
