Witch Hunter is only suppose to be a privleadge disapline. The reason for this is to prevent the untouchable.
Just take 4th level witch hunter & 4th level man at arms
You have press
Resist sleep, fear, magic.
And + 5 to ones shield
Hummm, does any one see a problem with that

Good point. Can another Gm or two weight in on this? I think maybe Witch hunter is just privelged now that I think about it.
I am actually totally in favor of it being both common and priviledged and dropping one of the Man at Arms resists, Namely the resist fear.

Where does it say that you can only ever get +3 life.
The rulebook I have says you can get +5 life

There are a number of skills or magic that can give characters extra life above their normal maximum. However, a player can never receive more than five life points over the maximum.
Right
You are right. No where in the curent rule book does it say you only can buff up to +3 life & armor. The only buff limitation in the book is +5 life found on page 40 under life point secition. Good catch.
It was orginal 5 points and than it was lowered to 3 points worth of buffing. I guess the change never got into the rules.
