EAST SIDE Practice

I have a place in Ortonville.....(exit #91 off I-75 north of Detroit) with lots of room to park and play.

I'd like to have a practice on the 22nd or 29th OR both if there's enough interest. Kids are welcome.. I have a 10 and 12 year old to play with. They are pretty good at staying out of the fray.

1pm on Sat till whenever... we have a fire pit so a bon fire is a definate possibility...BYOB

Please let me know if you'd like to come...

I'm hoping it's not sooooo awful cold.... but I definitely want to have one here before the next event!!

Sorry we haven't responded sooner, but life has been hectic and I wasn't sure what our weekends were going to hold. If you're still planning on having a LARP sparring session next Sunday the 29th, I think we might come along (Brian, our son Donovan 2 1/2 and I).

Still planning on having a practice... 1pm at my house in Ortonville.... These directions are from the south of Ortonville.... if you are coming from the north and are having trouble PM me and I will give you directions from where you are coming from....

Take I-75 to exit 91 (Clarkston Davison exit)

Make a right turn onto M-15 you will be heading North.

Drive approx 11 miles (past Shell station on right, and A&W on right)

Make a right turn onto Oakwood Road
At the corner of Oakwood and M-15 you will see a strip mall with "Bueches Food World" "Hungry Howies" and "Mammoth Video"

Drive .9 miles to 815 Oakwood

make a left turn into the driveway.
My driveway is blacktoped and directly across from "Sherman Ct." there is a street light above Sherman Ct.

The house is Yellow with brown trim and it sets pretty far back off the road, with a 14' Hobbie Cat in the front yard as well as huge Black Walnut trees.

I will definitely be there! Need to be able to save my own arse...no Incarius at the next Event :'( I will bring the new tent and the cots so you can test them out!So much to do still and I have yet to put the last of the gromits in my new bodice.

If this practice goes well I will hopefully have another before the first event next year!!

Hopefully you can make that one.

I honestly don't know everyone from the East side of the state... but it's only fair to have practice on this side as well.

Thank you Christine for opening up your home to us...We will definitely have to try again when we get more people...But thank you for the practice.
