Final Haven LARP - Welcome!
~*~
Final Haven is a flourishing LARP which was developed, tested, and currently operates out of the Midwestern United States.
The Final Haven world is a post-apocalyptic medieval fantasy realm which blends the intrigue, ingenuity, and diverse backgrounds of its players to solve physical and mental challenges.
We believe that teamwork, combat, puzzle solving, and of course a sense of humor, blend to form an exciting and dynamic environment for players and GMs alike.
Character Creation is easy and the rules system has been simplified greatly from many other LARP experiences to help new players integrate quickly. Additionally, many of our players find that the rapid early advancement system in our game helps them become quickly involved in the long-term story arcs, and in the political aspects of the game.
We encourage anyone interested in participating to contact us for further information, and see if there is a Final Haven group near you! You can find a number of resources throughout this website, including a downloadable PDF version of the full rule-set. Other useful resources include the Final Haven Library and the Discussion Forums. Our players post articles regularly, and are eager to meet potential new players.
Quotes from players:
“I came in to my first event at Final Haven, I wasn't the biggest but I could defend myself better than I could first event at another LARPs I've been to and better now after my second event my skills are pretty great! I don't have to wait around or find small animals to kill. - Christine B.
“I've only been to a few LARPS but this one has the best role-playing that I've seen. - Erik T.
“The weary soul of a man fighting for righteousness, the sweet agony of our mutual exhaustion, the physical and mental weights of ... sword and armor, the heartache of loss, the pain of division, the vision of the tempest, and the feel of the rain all brought me to a place that no book or movie ever could. Word and images simply cannot do justice to that kind of experience, and that is what I love about the game. Everyone involved is a part of that experience... – David T.
