He turns back to Faust and, with a nod to Gondowon, adds: "Perhaps we ought to speak to a few select others about our mutual proposition."

Leaving Faust to ponder, and Gondowon to wonder, Janus extends a hand once more and begins to more deeply probe the gold-flecked lump of clay with his arcane senses.

"Perhaps. Building a palace can take a long time, only the most talented and trusted architects and masons should be trusted in building the foundation."

Faust slings off his backpack and begins unloading tools from the bottom of it. Cutting off a piece of the clump he begins dissecting the contents and looking into it with a fine magnifying glass.
