I would like to see some life transfused back into these. Let them gather a spell book, and select which they will use for the event at check in. If they want to change any of their choices, they must spend 45 minutes + 15 minutes per level of highest level spell swapped out "studying in solitude"(maybe NPCing at NPC camp like disguise???)
Might also want to add another 5 to 15 minutes per spell beyond the first, that the PC wants changed. Should keep the swapping to a minimum and only when needed.

although I have seen some from the WH staff at FH events I think should be on there too AND ...the list should be FINITE. No researching spells except MAYBE between seasons so staff can review them in detail.
