I like data, and require information before I make conclusions, but skills and placement make it hard to find a coherent system.
example time!!!!
recall = master level path ability and 3rd discipline ability (precedent set, master level = 3rd level skill, master discipline skill = better then master path skill)
parry = master level path ability and 4th discipline ability (precedent broken, master level = 4th level skill, master discipline skill = same as master path skill)
3RR0R - system is shutting down
dual wield = 2nd level discipline skill, light armor restriction = 1st level discipline skill, no armor restriction = basic path skill, medium armor restriction = basic path skill, no armor restriction
advanced swap outs = 1 life point for 1 crush, 1 life point for 1 vorpal + root (precedent set, crush is better then vorpal OR root costs nothing)
basic fire storm vs throw stone = precedent set that spells and potions suffer additional cost because of versatility. SotD = precedent broken (20 point skill that mimics a 20 point skill then gives complete immunity to special call) OR immunity to special effects costs nothing.
single weapon focus vs weapon focus = master discipline skills are worth more then master path skills
crush vs SotD = master discipline skills are worth less then basic skills
rare expensive as heck armor that made you immune to vorpal = removed from game. potion that makes you immune to crush = 20 points. logic = priceless
advanced rogue = 8 damage in 10 seconds. advanced sage = 10 damage in 60 seconds (discrepancy detected)
Final Haven rule logic = perfect. why? = Reasons!
