*Atrum pours Ug a drink*
Only one circle on one day? that seems an odd plan my friend, what would happen if they were to get into trouble? Which we both know will happen without either of our help. *Winks at Ug* And yes i would like to be there just in case.
*When the stranger approaches Atrum looks him over and notices any oddities or weapons or curious bulges, obviously untrusting of the newcomer* What is it I can do for you, and please refrain from getting in others faces for any reason in MY INN.

The woman with the colorless skin and sharp lavender eyes entered the Inn for the first time in some weeks. Vaun did not like large groups of people and, for her, the absence of much of Haven’s population had been much appreciated. Without that blasted dwarf about to threaten her life, she had been free to walk about as she willed. As such, she decided to indulge in a little of Atrum’s company, one of the only folk of Haven she did not inherently feel uneasy around. There was also the fact that she had news for him, if he wished it.
She swept into the inn silently, those odd eyes of hers studying the scene closely. When she met Atrum’s eyes, she gave him the slightest of nods, as close to a bow of greeting as she’d ever get with one not of the Blood. She made her way over to him, giving the others a wide birth.
“Good day, Atrum Draconus,” she said in her usual near whisper. “I have had a dream… of snow and death… I thought you might wish to know.” Her face held no more emotion that usual, which meant none at all. The Storm Elf had no vested interest in any of the people of Haven, save perhaps Atrum, and so their lives or deaths meant little to her. Then again, she was partially of elven blood, so she accepted the death of those not of her kin as part of their path. “I do not think all is well for your companions who now walk the Northern road in the land where the winter never ends”

*Ug looks up at Vaun*

Vaun looked upon the 'Elf' with a kind of detatched irritation, that he would have thought to speak to her when she was not addressing him. However, she knew that outright snottyness would not be any good, for she was a stranger in a strange land. As it was, she opted to ignore him and returned to speaking to Atrum.
"I have been wrong before, but not often. I could read the cards... if you wish it."

*Ug coughs, and then speaks in a very calm, even....elven-ish tone.*
The cards can be dangerous, I would be wary of trusting in them too far m'lady. Is not knowing one's future really just a way of sealing one's fate? Men who try to change their future, often end up where they saw they would be. Is it perhaps not better to let the Fates guide us without predetermination to at least give the illusion that man controls his own Fate?
*He ponders for but a second.*
Or do you wish to use the cards to see the present or the past? I see the worth in that, but still bear warning against looking to the future. My apologies for speaking out of turn, however when I find something dangerous, I would rather bear warning than bite my tongue.
*sighs*
Me torry.
*Pulls out a book and flips it open*

Looks up in good cheer as a new addition to the party arrives
"Aye, Latenight, dat's a boffer one that is. A bit straw tho. Pony a drab fer the mountain. Get some sybling in 'er possies. An' anothe sink fer me around 'ere. Still about cherry 'e is."
Stumbles from barstool and gives a grand if clumbsy bow
"a real golden, m'lady. M'name's Chauncy...or is it Edger?...nope, m'names Chauncy, A' yer werling."
Spins back to Atrum and speaks slowly as if takeing care to be understandable
"I was a'wondering, guv, if ya may be a'looking fer a cook o' two. I make a mean Peasent stew an' me brudder a fine blood pudding, an' we can make other fine dishes when we gets the go-in-sides."
When Vaun mentions reading cards he turns back to her in shock and amazement.
"Ya can swamp da bards? Now that's fine fish, that is."

*When Atrum hears the door open he looks and as Vaun sweeps into the room his laughter slows but his smile does not fade, He returns her nod, a bit deeper and is listening to her speak as he walks to her his smile begins to fade. He begins to reply but looks over his shoulder as Ug speaks up but then returns his attention to her with a slight shiver*
Freaky, anyway, Vaun'ithily'in, it's good to see you. *He glances at her shoulder quickly* I trust you are well these days. Trouble in Frostfell you say, *smiles wryly and raises his voice slightly* See Ug, I told you they'd get into trouble without us. *A wry laugh rumbles in his chest and escapes his lips* Please sit, and tell me what you can discern of the peril that faces them. *Atrum offers her a seat and takes a seat next to her*
